Feature request: Add to My Day (Tomorrow)
I love the Add to My Day feature. I love that it disappears when the day is done. It's fantastic. But it only works for that day. I believe there is evidence that setting up a daily list the night before is more effective for productivity. I would like to request a feature for Microsoft To Do: Add to My Day (Tomorrow). This would be just like Add to My Day, except that the item would appear as already added to my day when tomorrow arrives. That's it. This is different from setting a due date of tomorrow. It's just putting it on tomorrow's My Day list. It may or not be due, but it's on the list.gtuckerkelloggNov 25, 2020Iron Contributor38KViews173likes74CommentsCan you add a calendar view in Microsoft To-Do?
It will be very effective if the calendar view is inserted.Azbileg_TogtokhbayarJan 08, 2022Iron Contributor52KViews76likes29CommentsFeature Request - Due Dates for Sub-tasks in Microsoft TO DO
It would be really great if there were a way to have due dates for sub-tasks placed in Microsoft To Do. Right now, that is the thing keeping me with Asana. This is also what has prevented me from using the Microsoft Planner. I find that I have one main task, but frequently have multiple sub-tasks to accomplish the one task. (Welcome to the wonderful world of HR management!) It is often impractical to create a brand new list for each task, so the ability to have due dates for sub tasks would be a great addition. Thanks!AHRIsdhrJul 12, 2021Brass Contributor8.7KViews37likes16CommentsSort by Date Completed
Please add "Sort by Date Completed" to the To-Do sort options! To-Do allows sorting by: Importance Due Date Added to My Date Alphabetically Creation Date But none of those are any help when trying to find a task I have accidentally checked off! If "Sort by Date Completed" was an option, my most recently completed tasks would be right at the top (or bottom) of the list!Matthew JarskyMay 03, 2020Iron Contributor5.2KViews31likes5CommentsCreate a 'My week' just like 'My day'
There is an other request (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-to-do/feature-request-add-to-my-day-tomorrow/m-p/1930251) to create 'My Tomorrow' section, but for me it would be more useful to create a plan for the week and generate the 'My day' content from there. The 'My week' would include elements that I want complete or focus during the workweek. 'My week' could be the name, but it is more like a container that can gather elements from multiple lists to show what is my current focus for a longer period than 1 day.Tibor_WeberFeb 28, 2022Brass Contributor9KViews28likes4CommentsFeature Request: Add Start Date field
Using To Do to work with Outlook tasks is a HUGE problem because To Do has bafflingly omitted the Start Date field. Outlook has Start Dates. Todoist does. Microsoft's Planner does. In fact, every task management system I've ever seen has them. But not To Do, and that's despite the fact that it directly syncs with a program (Outlook tasks) that does. So, Microsoft sees the value of start dates in all of its other task management software, but the To Do team thinks it knows better? So who made this decision to hamstring To Do by leaving out this field?mgerityMay 17, 2022Brass Contributor4.7KViews24likes7CommentsMake overdue tasks more visible
I'm a heavy user of To Do, and despite using it every day for several months, I just found the Overdue list under Planned. This is a really important list for me, but burying it here make it much less accessible and valuable. I'd like to recommend two possible approaches to make overdue tasks more visible: Add an "Overdue" smart list to the sidebar, at the same level as Important, Assigned to Me, etc. Have an option to show overdue tasks in My Day similar to the current option for Due Today tasks.Ben_WyattMay 25, 2023Microsoft5.5KViews18likes3CommentsSort completed tasks by date completed
How can I sort completed tasks by the day they were completed? I want to see a day of all my completed tasks. Right now they are placed at the end of the list. So I have to scroll through 3,000 completed tasks in order to see my most recent. Is there a way to see all your tasks completed from the last 7 days or today?falconbalSep 13, 2021Brass Contributor4.6KViews18likes3CommentsPlease add Toggle List for Loop
I'm very surprised that Loop has yet to integrate one of the most useful features that Notion has. The toggle list is absolutely basic. It lets you save nested information. Each page can have a lot more information. Why is this not integrated into Loop. Probably one of the main reasons my company hasn't adopted Loop yet. PLEASE add it.bohljNov 09, 2023Brass Contributor4.1KViews17likes10Comments
