Copilot: I've mapped a 365 data source. Now what?
I'm experimenting with Copilot to see how it interrogates a data source. Microsoft 365 has https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftsearch/connectors-overview#microsoft-graph-connectors-by-microsoft so I decided to map a ServiceNow catalog. I took the following steps: Started a free trial for ServiceNow Navigated to Microsoft 365 admin center -> Search & Intelligence Added a https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftsearch/servicenow-catalog-connector Created a Result Type for the data source Created a Vertical for the data source Performed a full-crawl (source now shows as "Ready" with 144 items indexed) Started a free trial for https://copilotstudio.microsoft.com/ Created a new Copilot instance I (optimistically) used the "Test copilot" option to say: "I want to change a firewall rule", hoping but not expecting, that Copilot would respond with an Adaptive Card corresponding to the "Firewall Rule Change" catalog service. Copilot: "I'm sorry, I'm not sure how to help with that." So, what's next? According to this blog post, it should be possible, but I'm guessing I'm missing a step or have taken a wrong turn at some point.
Bing Mobile Enterprise
There's a new (to me at least) button in the top of the bing.com/chat experience that is promoting Bing Mobile (see below). The issue is that the Bing mobile app doesn't support Enterprise. It's confusing to end users who are trying to use the app because after signing in with a work/school account, the Chat button in the mobile app says "Please switch to a personal Microsoft Account then try again." Not sure why the mobile app would be promoted in Enterprise mode when it doesn't support it. Is there any word on when support will be added? Until the support is added, can the Mobile button be removed from the Enterprise experience?
