Copilot is the new name for Bing Chat Enterprise!
Announced at Ignite, and in an effort to simplify the user experience and make Copilot more accessible to everyone, Bing Chat and Bing Chat Enterprise are becoming Copilot, with commercial data protection enforced when any eligible user is signed in with Microsoft Entra ID. Additionally, try out Copilot on its new site, copilot.microsoft.com!Eric_VanAelstynNov 15, 2023Microsoft19KViews0likes8CommentsHow to block Bing Chat public for organization users and allowing Bing Chat Enterprise

Hello Everyone, We are having intermittent issues with the Copilot sidebar in Edge. It works sometimes, and other times we get an error that says "We're sorry but we're unable to connect to the service at this time." It has a refresh button which doesn't help. What's weird, is that we have Copilot licenses enabled for our users and going to https://bing.com/chat works fine in all cases (and shows the user signed in and "protected" as expected). Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions to fix this issue? Briangc-bclarkApr 24, 2024Copper Contributor15KViews2likes8CommentsM365 Copilot - on premises
We have requests for how to use Copilot for M365 using on premises resources. For example, data is not stored in Microsoft cloud. It is stored on on prem file servers and Exchange Servers. How can I get confirmation and guidance on how this can implemented? I heard the File Share Graph connector "might" work. Can anyone with expertise chime in?David_BarmanFeb 17, 2024Copper Contributor12KViews1like2CommentsCopilot is slow compared to free GenAI chat tools
We are rolling out Copilot with Commercial Data Protection to staff and working on adoption and trying to get people to use it instead of ChatGPT. One piece of feedback that has come back from several staff members is speed. ChatGPT, a free tool, is very fast - you get answers almost instantly. Whereas Copilot, a product we are paying for, is slow. You wait and watch it type sentence after sentence. Although we are selling the security and power of Copilot the speed makes initial impressions very dissapointing to staff familiar with other services. Overall comments are negative instead of seeing the potential. Are there plans to speed it up as I can see staff looking for alternatives?osionjetFeb 18, 2024Copper Contributor10KViews0likes10CommentsText to speech read aloud copilot bing chat results.

Dear MS Team nad other Advisors. I would kindly like to ask about Microsoft Copilot - free version (web based and Skype Bing Chat based). I would like to use Copilot free version commercially, mainly in Poland (EU): a) generating text, using this text as inspiration or copy it to my company's social media posts or ebooks which I will be selling b) generating images for company's social media (e.g. Facebook group background or information posts with image to make them more entertaining) c) generating images for ebooks and video courses which I will be selling I live in Poland and have a commercial Office 365 subscription (1-person company / freelance). I have found by myself that: 1) https://www.bing.com/new/termsofuse?FORM=GENTOS Bing Chat / Image Generator Terms of Use have changed and now they do not state that output cannot be used commercially. 2) https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/bing/forum/all/commercial-use-of-images-generated-using-copilot/af4613c4-9ed5-40ed-81df-65aea64b246f Somebody's output form Copilot stated that it can be used for free commarcially, but when I ask Copilot myself, it responds that I cannot answer that kind of question and it ends topic (I cannot continue it). 3) https://learn.microsoft.com/pl-pl/copilot/terms-of-use Microsoft does not claim any rights to output (images / text / etc.) generated by Copilot 4) https://www.uctoday.com/collaboration/is-microsoft-copilot-free-the-complete-guide-to-copilot-pricing/ Free Copilot has "Commercial Data Protection" which would suggest that it can be commercially used. My questions are: 1) Can I use Copilot free version commercially (especially images generated by it)? 2) Do I have to add a watermark? If yes - what watermark (Mine? Copilot's? Both?)? Is it required or optional? Does it grant any additional protection (like author's rights protection)?
