Copilot for nonprofits - pricing and offers
With Copilot now announced for release on 1 November, I am wondering if/when pricing and offer details for nonprofit organisations will be released? It would be great to see a grant plus discount offer as Copilot could deliver a lot of value to nonprofits. Now that Copilot is being widely released for businesses of all sizes and personal use, is Microsoft planning on offering CoPilot for Microsoft 365 to Non Profits with discounted pricing?eshersJan 16, 2024Copper Contributor17KViews1like9CommentsUPDATE: O365 E2 Grant Discontinuation effective October 1st
Dear Valued Partner: On April 3, 2023, Tech for Social Impact, part of Microsoft Philanthropies, announced the final discontinuation of the legacy Office 365 E2 grant offer that was provided through the Web Direct channel. * * It has come to our attention that due to a technical issue in the offer catalog system, subscriptions of the discontinued Office 365 E2 offer are incorrectly auto-renewing. To address this issue, Microsoft will disable Office 365 E2 subscriptions that have been incorrectly renewed. This legacy plan was discontinued by Microsoft in 2013 and will no longer be supported. The discontinuation of Office 365 E2 won’t affect any plans currently available in our nonprofit offer catalog, including 10 granted licenses of Microsoft 365 Business Premium, 300 granted licenses of Microsoft 365 Business Basic, and up to 2000 granted licenses of Office 365 E1 via Enterprise Agreement. We’ll continue to provide discounts to nonprofits of up to 75 percent on many Microsoft 365 products. • At the next renewal on or after October 1, 2023, customers subscribed to this legacy offer may renew into the Office 365 E1 plan, priced at USD $2.50 per user per month. • Alternatively, customers can transition up to 300 of their users from the legacy Office 365 E2 nonprofit grant to the Microsoft 365 Business Basic nonprofit grant or can access up to 2000 granted Office 365 E1 licenses through an Enterprise Agreement. Notifications were sent directly to the Global Admins and Billing Admins on April 3, 2023, and posted through the Tenant Admin Center Alerts. If any nonprofit customers ask you about this outreach from TSI, please direct them to the Nonprofit Support team for further assistance. Engagewith your customer(s) and support them in making the right decision on what to do and supply the grant or discounted licenses that they need to replace the Office 365 E2 grant licenses. Hi Have there been any partner announcements for the retirement of Fundraising and Engagement? This is from a F&E customer's post on LinkedIn (not the best way for a Partner to find out the news!): Fundraising and Engagement will be retired Microsoft remains committed to providing affordable and relevant technology and skilling to nonprofit organizations worldwide. As of July 15, 2024, Microsoft will continue providing necessary security updates, but will not make additional enhancements to Fundraising and Engagement. Between July 15, 2024, and December 31, 2026, you can continue to use Fundraising and Engagement, apply security updates as they are made available from Microsoft, and receive technical support from Microsoft. After December 31, 2026, Microsoft will no longer implement security updates for Fundraising and Engagement, and there will be no further technical support for the solution. What action should your organization take? We want to ensure that all customers have a successful path forward on the Microsoft Cloud for their organizational fundraising needs. Welcome to the Partners for Social Impact Community! Growth opportunities abound in the Nonprofit Sector.Microsoft is investing in this sector and here is why you should too.Microsoft is committed to doubling the number of nonprofits we reach over the next five years (to 600K by 2027), but we need partners to help us hit that goal. In 2017 Microsoft invested in the Nonprofit Sector through the creation of the Microsoft Technology for Social Impact organization to scale our reach and impact in the nonprofit sector. Why is Microsoft engaged in this work? We recognized two things. First, nonprofit is one of the largest industries in the world and represents a massive opportunity to drive meaningful digital transformation that impacts not just these organizations, but the downstream beneficiaries they serve, whether that be a child, a rescue animal, or a rainforest. Second, nonprofits need the same technology solutions and services of a commercial industry and rely on Microsoft and its partner ecosystem to support them in their technology adoption.
