I am currently on Windows 11 Build 22504.rs_prelease.211112-1650 and whenever I use Microsoft Teams Desktop (Version 1.4.00.29469 (64-bit), last updated on 2021-11-06) with my Taotronics TT-BH22 headset, I cannot hear anything from the headset's speakers in the call unless I use the headset's microphone. The two problems with using the headset's own microphone are that The audio quality becomes very poor for no reason I want to use my external Blue Yeti microphone instead of my headset microphone. The above picture is what I would like my Teams audio setup to be, with my Taotronics headphones as the speakers and my Yeti as the microphone. With this setup in a Teams call, although I can notice sound being played to my Taotronics via the sound control panel (see image below), I do not hear it. So I effectively cannot use my external microphone in Teams because I have a bluetooth headset mic, and when I use the bluetooth headset's microphone in Teams, the sound on the headset works, but it is of very poor quality. I have tried disabling the headset mic, but that doesn't fix the issue, as I still can't hear anything from my headphones. I've been able to use Teams on the browser without an issue, but I need the features on Teams Desktop since the browser version is limited.Solved55KViews5likes23CommentsAccessing a Teams Meeting
I have two Microsoft Teams accounts a personal account with 365 (so the paid version of Teams) and a work account which is the free version of Teams. Note: both accounts use the same email (I suspect this maybe the root cause of my issues). When I create a meeting using my personal account all is good in terms of access. When a 3rd party invites me to a meeting I have problems access the meeting via my App. (I've been onto Microsoft Support and they reloaded the App but I still have the issue). I've tried clicking the link, "Join via a meeting ID" but nothing seems to work. I have access via the web but that seems to be a bit hit and miss, some time it works and some times it doesn't. I only have this issue on the desktop, I can assess meetings via my phone using the Teams App without a problem. This isn't ideal for sharing screens etc., so really need to resolve this issue on my desktop. I just want to be able to consistently access meetings either via my personal (paid) version or my work (free) version. At the moment I actually don't know until I try (and often fail) to join. Any advice/things to try would be great. Thanks in advance,654Views0likes0CommentsIssue with Teams Mobile Notification
Anyone else facing this issue with Microsoft Teams notification. I'm getting the notification banner on my notification panel. But there's no sound. All the notification options are turned on for both teams and phone settings.Phone is not on silent mode. Tried clearing cache, restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling. I saw on other forums that many others are also facing the issue, but couldn't find any solution. I'm facing the issue on my work profile. I tried contacting the work tech support, they said its an issue with the app. Call notification is working fine, issue is for chat and activities. Any help regarding this would be so helpful. Thanks in advance1.2KViews2likes1CommentHow to Start a Meeting at a Different Time for Different People
I need to create a Teams meeting invite using Calendar where the candidate being interviewed has to wait in the lobby until they are permitted into the meeting by the hosts. How exactly do I do this with Calendar? Supposedly it has something to do with the specific Teams link of the meeting.28KViews0likes1CommentTeams says "someone has already setup teams for your organization" though I haven't
After talking with 4 different support portals/people who don't understand the issue I'm told to post here. I have my email which is associated with a personal account and a work organization account (because it was added later for something). Normally, most apps when logging in ask me if I want to use my 'personal' or 'work' one when logging in, but teams just auto-errors to "someone has already setup for your organization" even though I've never setup teams before and I'm the owner of the org. I'm assuming that another organization who's added me to them for other development reasons uses teams (for work) and this is why I'm getting this error, but I just want to sign up with it using the personal account. None of these have an office subscription or anything.1.6KViews0likes1Comment
