How to embed an IP camera streaming video onto a SharePoint webpage
Hi All, I need to embed an IP camera streaming video onto our SharePoint webpage. The SharePoint is an online site. The problem I am have is the IP Camera address is only http and not https (http://0.0.0.0/view/viewer_index.shtml). I get an error message when I try to use a media web part to add the IP Camera (please see attach screenshot). Is there any way I can get around this error message? Is anyone else getting the error "This site is read-only. You can't make any changes to files or folders on this site." I receive this error through the One Drive app when syncing down a SharePoint document library with columns that are required. I also did remove those columns to have required values (still kept them on the DL - I understand they don't display in the file explorer) and attempted to re-sync and synced the library and did so without issue. Another facet of this error - the Document Library on SharePoint Online with columns as required; if I were to drag and drop from the file explorer, the Document Library will know if there are required fields and prompt me by revealing the right side pane and fill that information in before adding it to the library. I have attached that screenshot as well.
SharePoint List Item Modified By Changing Automatically.
We are using SharePoint 2016 on Prem. in the custom list item modified by user change automatically hence tracking of the list item very difficult. earlier we have migrate SharePoint site 2010 to 2016 then given issue occured. even i am looking version history there also change modified and created by user changed. Please help.
The current user does not have the UseRemoteAPIs permission
I setup trust for search between two farms according to this https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/search/configure-trust-for-search-between-two-sharepoint-server-farms. After configuring successfully, we use KQL query to get search results from receiving farm in sending farm. These days, a user reports he cannot get search result from receiving farm in sending farm, after checking the log in sending farm, I find this error 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.ServerException: Query execution is only allowed with IgnoreSafeQueryPropertiesTemplateUrl=true when the user has the UseRemoteAPIs permission.', then I check the logs in receiving farm I find the message like 'The current user does not have the UseRemoteAPIs permission but is trying to execute a query with IgnoreSafeQueryPropertiesTemplateUrl=true.', seems that the user doesn't have the UseRemoteAPIs permission. I am not sure why receiving farm doesn't check out the UseRemoteAPIs permission for the user, because the use is assigned with read permission by visitor group, limited access permission by style resources readers group. And the site collection feature : Limited-access user permission lockdown mode has already been deactivated. Another end user with same permission can get search result from receiving farm in sending farm. I am not sure if the permission failure is related to 'one way trust domain' issue: User1 is in domain 2. Domain 1 trust domain 2, and they are in one way trust domain relationship. Current user has been added in a domain group named all-stuff in domain 1. If the document has been shared by all-stuff ad group directly or shared by a SP group which contains all-stuff ad group, https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/microsoft.sharepoint.spweb.doesuserhavepermissions.aspx method will fail to check User1's pemrission. I try to re-produce this scenario, but I don't get error. I try to set the following properties for support search even if the user doesn't have UseRemoteAPIs permission. query.IgnoreSafeQueryPropertiesTemplateUrl = false; query.SafeQueryPropertiesTemplateUrl = "spfile://webroot/queryparametertemplate.xml"; As I didn't reproduce the error, I am not if this change can resolve the issue, also when I inspect the verbose logs in receiving farm, I don't find out the properties and the values information in CSOM request XML, so don't think this way can resolve the issue. Can anyone give me some suggestions?
User Control in SharePoint 2016 Solution Deploy to 16 hive but having reference of 15 hive
Hello Floks, I have installed SP2016 On Premise Enterprise Edition. I have created one User Control inside the Control Templates mapped folder of 16 hive. When the User Control is created by Visual Studio 2017, I noticed that it's having a SharePoint assembly reference of Version 15.0.0.0 which is used for SharePoint 2013. Below is SharePoint assembly in my User Control. <%@ Register Tagprefix="SharePoint" Namespace="Microsoft.SharePoint.WebControls" Assembly="Microsoft.SharePoint, Version=15.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c" %> After adding some custom html inside the user control, I have added application page and inside that added reference of my user control. It will generated something like below: <%@ Register TagPrefix="CustomControl" TagName="ViewDetails" src="~/_controltemplates/16/CustomControl/ViewUserDetails.ascx" %> Notice here, it is automatically take the reference of the 16 hive folder while adding reference of User Control from Visual Studio IDE. Once I added user control to application page, I have deployed the solution and verfied that all the files are deployed correctly at 16 hive folder. After that when I tried to access my custom page from browser it showing an error as below: The file '/_controltemplates/16/CustomControl/ViewUserDetails.ascx' does not exist. Then I have updated reference of the user control from 16 hive to 15 hive and after that page is working fine as expected. Unable to find the root cause of the issue as I have created new SharePoint 2016 solution then why it's taking reference of the 15 hive folder. Looking further to hear from your guys. Hi Team, What are all the databases PSCONFIG.EXE command is going to touch? My problem is we set up availability group on SQL Databases. So, we are not sure for which databases we need to remove the availability groups. Thanks in advance! - Regards, Venkat
