Currently, To-Do allows you to assign a new task to someone in your shared list. It is great! However, I notice that whenever I assign a task to someone I would have to contact them (via email or text, or phone call) to confirm they have completed the task. I think it would be a very nice feature to have the option to assign task reminders for workers or others to complete the task they are assigned instead of just being given the task. I understand that when a task is assigned you can manually input a reminder for yourself once assigned. However, more times than not, you often forget, therefore, when given a reminder from your boss or manager you are able to be reminded by the app. This would eliminate the need to have your boss remind you to complete the task.5KViews5likes3CommentsMindmap in Teams - Please come to the party Microsoft.
We are looking for a Microsoft app for Mind Mapping. Similar to how Whiteboard is a standalone app as well as one that is integrated into Teams. Use Cases: Individual brainstorming for individual work Individuals brainstorming for team work Teams brainstorming for team work I notice that whiteboard continues to add more templates that are useful for team work but the lack of mind mapping function in Whiteboard is is glaring. I have added my vote to user voice for this but with the amount of votes there I doubt this request will make it onto the radar for consideration. I can see there are a number of 3rd party options but we would rather use something by Microsoft that is designed to be integrated and works well. We would even be willing to consider an in-built mind mapping feature anywhere else in M365 e.g. OneNote, Word etc. Has anybody encountered this feature elsewhere in M365 and I have just missed it? Dear all, I need to add a reminder note to a meeting in Outlook. Sometimes, there are some additional topics and information that come up before a meeting (even after I have scheduled it). This note should open up by itself while I join the meeting (or the meeting takes place). This way I am remembered by the system about the topics that need to be highlighted during the meeting. Is there any way to do this? Any add-on to outlook or any built-in way to do this? I know that I can already modify the invite to add some information without sending this to the attendees. However, this is not really what I am looking for because I would need to open the email to read this. On the other hand, I want this reminder to popup (by itself) while the meeting is taking place. Thank you.609Views0likes0CommentsBookings Reminders are in the Wrong Time Zone
Hi All, We currently have Bookings reminders set up to email remind one day and one hour in advance of an appointment. With over 2000 appointments scheduled in the last 6 months things have gone very well until just recently. It appears that the reminder is sent to the customer with the wrong time zone. e.g. If the customer made an appointment for tomorrow, 5/19 at noon Pacific Time, the reminder will come in saying "you have an appointment in one hour, May 19 at 2pm". Under the reminder you can see it says in small grey letters "Central Time" which is of course wrong, the business and initial Booking are in Pacific Time. There is no setting in the reminder area to confirm time zone, this happens intermittently across services. Has anyone been able to solve this? Thank you!2.9KViews0likes2CommentsRR1: big sur is coming, edge is not ready
Reminder (RR): 1Classification: APPLE PRIORITY IN MY OPINION: 1on a scale from 1 (low) to 10 (high), and 6-8 maybe for other users Just a reminder to edge dev that bigsur is coming soon. for me it doesn't matter if the icon is bigsur compatible or not, at the end i don't install bigsur at all, but a lot of user are obsessed with such design compatibility. wish you a good day. ciao.1.4KViews2likes0CommentsOverdue task reminder workflow error
Dear All. First of all, sorry for the long post. :-) I would like to ask for your help regarding SharePoint overdue task reminder. I’d like to use the build-in task app for assign monthly tasks with important due date. Requirements: Send a mail to assigned person, 2 days before overdue date. Do not send mail at the moment of the task assign, because we would like to assign monthly tasks for a year ahead and I do not want to send 12 mails within 2 minutes. Do not send the mail at midnight because it could be annoying for clients. I tried to solve the problem in many various way, but each of them seemed wrong. I do not know where is the problem exactly (in SharePoint Designer Workflow algorithm or SharePoint site settings?) My (wrong) solving method: WORKFLOW If Current Item:Task Status not equals Completed Add -2 days to Current Item:Due Date (Output to Variable:RightDate) then Pause until Variable:RightDate then Email Carl, Johnson Type: List Workflow Associated List: Tasks Platform type: SharePoint 2010 Workflow Start Options Allow this workflow to be manually started Start workflow automatically when an item is created SHAREPOINT SITE Columns: Task Name, Due Date (Date and Time type, Date + Time edition (with hours…)) Assigned To, Information Management Policy Settings: Enabled Retention with the following settings: This stage is based off a date property on the item Time Period: Due Date + 0 days Action: When this stage is triggered, perform the following action: Start a workflow Start this workflow {Name of the workflow} My overdue reminder workflow does not work in order (vid. requirements). I would be pleased if somebody could help me. Thank you very much in advance, AdamSolved6.7KViews0likes5Comments
