PDF content disappearing when viewing in SharePoint library
We're having a problem with a SharePoint online modern library in displaying PDF files content. The user will navigate to the document in the library, and the content shows at first, and then a moment later the content of the pdf form disappears. One thing to note is that in both Chrome and Edge that this is presenting in the same way for another user. Even after clearing cache and restarting computer. For myself, in testing, it is only happening in Chrome and not Edge. I'm not sure if there are settings I am missing that is causing this, but would appreciate any help or thoughts in solving this.32KViews0likes23CommentsSharing PDF on Microsoft Teams
Good morning, I am trying to upload a PDF to TEAMS to share with my students. They need to see the book on their screen as we are going through the lesson. I went to the share box with the arrow and tried to upload it. A message appears saying that it can not be uploaded. How can I upload and share with my students so they are able to read it from their screen? Also, I had eight students that signed into teams but I could only see two students. However, I could not see them at the same time. It would flip between the two students. How do I get all students to appear on the screen at the same time? Thank you for any help you can provide.31KViews1like1CommentPDFs are not showing in the modern File Viewer web part
Hello Community, I was trying to use the modern File Viewer web part to display a PDF on a modern page. But for some reasons I just couldn't see any of my PDF file in the Site selector even I am 100% sure files are in this document library. I end up just copy and past the URL of this PDF to the web part, but is this how it supposed to work? Does anyone experience the same behavior here? Hi all, I have a need to share documents in Teams that members can only consult online in Teams. To achieve this, I went to SharePoint, to the documents library then block permissions inheritance on this library. Then, I gave owner Full Control on this library and Restricted View (Can view pages, list items, and documents. Documents can be viewed in the browser but not downloaded.) This works perfectly for Office Documents but not for PDF files. When I try to open a PPDF file in Teams, I get this message : Hmm... looks like this file doesn't have a preview we can show you. Does anyone perform this type of configuration? Did I use the corret way to perform this? Best Regards, Fred.6.2KViews0likes3CommentsPushing a PDF via InTune / Endpoint Manager
Hello Community, I am trying to leverage InTune to distribute a PDF file of a Business Continuity Plan Contact list to iOS devices in my organization and after extensive searching on the web and in these forums this topic appears to have been questioned several times over the last few years and remains unsolved. I was going to submit some formal feedback on InTune requesting this and the Voices app for the feedback submission appears to not be functioning correctly for the portal. I would like to see if this issue can be raised for feedback / development to the InTune / Endpoint Manager development team as it would be beneficial for enterprises to leverage this functionality without our existing investments without requiring different MDMs like Mosyle.Solved6.2KViews0likes5CommentsFile association getting reset for PDF
Pdf files association getting reset to Chrome and edge randomly daily after changing Adobe Acrobat 2017 as default. Effected machines are windows 10 enterprise 20H1 and 20H2 We updated some machines to 20h2 and got same behaviour. Approx impact 300 users at client side. GPO and GPP are not helpful. We doubt it's bug related to file association. Anyone else facing same issue ?4.9KViews1like3CommentsFlow always running as Owner
Hello, I've created a flow running on a SharePoint Document library, it is triggered each time item properties are edited. Based on the value of some properties, the file is then converted to PDF and copied to another library. Pretty basic stuff. It works fine, but it always run as my user, and not as the user who triggered the flow. I would like it to run as the user who triggered the flow and use the credentials of that user to connect to SharePoint and OneDrive. It was my understanding that it was the default behavior of flow. How can I create a flow or a connexion using the credentials of user triggering it? Thank you Pierre-NicolasSolvedIRM-protected PDFs in SharePoint
Adobe is the default pdf-reader where I work, and that does not support IRM, so we get an error message each time we open an IRM-protected pdf file. I am testing the other options recommended by Microsoft, including the Azure Information Protection App. 1. Does anyone know if there is an Azure Information Protection Addon for internet explorer? When I install this app, I am able to open irm-protected pdf-files from open in explorer view (when I choose to open it with the Azure Information protection viewer), however, I do not have an addon in IE that can open the file in the browser 2. Any workarounds around this problem? Addon to Adobe?2.4KViews0likes0Comments
