While using the Security Admin Center Tenant Allow/Block List we have been able to block specific email addresses and IPv6 IP addresses but are unable to block IPv4 IP addresses. We have tried both using the console and the CLI but have turned up unsuccessful both times when it comes to IPv4. A large majority of the phishing attempts that we encounter come from IPv4 addresses but we have been unable to block any of these. Will there ever be functionality for IPv4 within the Tenant Allow/Block list or is the only option to use conditional access policies? Also why is this enterprise tool only functional with IPv6 and without documentation stating that it does not work for IPv4?66Views1like0Commentsoutlook 365 set categories in admin center possible?
Hello, We're using Office 365 we have problems on multiple iMacs with the Outlook app. The colors of the categories sometimes disappear en sometimes different colors are suddenly popping up. It's happening on older iMac as on new ones as well. After a fresh install sometimes it works again for a while but then they'll start disappearing again. Very annoying and more people seem to have the same problem. Now I want to set the categories in the office or exchange admin center, but I cannot find out where I could do this. Hopefully when we set the categories for the whole company, hopefully the problems won't come back again. I think it might have something do also with delegated mailboxes but all people using them have all the rights. We're using the legacy Outlook while the new Outlook does show only a very few of our IMAP folders Hopefull you can help us out here, thanks!11Views0likes0CommentsNDR Emails Not Appearing in Group Mailbox
I've encountered an issue with non-delivery reports (NDR) when sending emails from a Teams group mailbox. When I send an email from my personal company email address to a non-existent address, I correctly receive an NDR in my inbox. However, when I do the same from a Teams group email address, no NDR is delivered to the group mailbox. Upon checking Exchange Message Trace, I can see that the NDR is being sent to the group mailbox, but it is delivered to the "RecoverableItemsDeletions" folder. The message was successfully delivered to the folder: DefaultFolderType:RecoverableItemsDeletions I believe this issue may have started after switching to the New Groups in Outlook. Previously, it seemed to work fine. Can anyone assist with resolving this? Thank you in advance for your help.563Views0likes6CommentsEnsure users installing Outlook add-ins is not allowed affecting integrated apps/add-ins
I'm working on the usual chasing Microsoft Secure Score, one that we have that gives points and takes them away on a weekly basis is this one below. We don't have the three items unchecked in User Roles to accommodate this recommendation. So I figure it is a bugged recommendation. Ensure users installing Outlook add-ins is not allowed However it would be nice to permanently make it so. However, we have another area in M365 Admin that has integrated apps configured for a handful of third party add-ins and of course the Teams Add-In for Outlook. Would this be affected by turning on the above recommendation? Or is this just if the end user goes to add one on their own? Thank you.568Views0likes2CommentsM365 Admin Center Integrated Report Message for few users in Outlook
Hi, We have deployed "Report Message" for few users in outlook from M365 Admin center. That add-in not coming automatically in OWA and OUTLOOK. Actually, I want to deploy this app automatically in all selected users outlook. Does it support F1 license too? Please suggest.Solved241Views0likes2CommentsShared Mailbox Permissions for Groups
In Microsoft 365 Admin Centre I have a Shared Mailbox ("myMailbox") I would like to add Read and Manage permissions to this mailbox for a Group of users ("myGroup"). Is this possible? The end goal is to be able to give multiple (say 100) users Read access to one Shared Mailbox - currently the only way this is possible is to give each individual member the permission. I was hoping to be able to create a group, add the members to that group and then grant permissions to that group (essentially Group-Based Access Control). Thanks! Hey everyone, I just set up my entire team with an Outlook account. Each person has their own display name (First, Last) and other personal information attached via the 'Identity' tab in the admin center. My issue is that when a team member sends an email it arrives the in the recipients inbox as 'email address removed for privacy reasons' instead of the display name of 'Joe Montana.' How and what do I change to ensure the recipient of the email sees the name of the sender rather than their whole email address. It's affecting our deliverability because it looks spammy. Any help would be appreciated!370Views0likes0CommentsCan you forward all OOTO/Vacation from users to one email across on another domain?
HR from the company wants to receive a notification when any user sets auto OOTO/Vacation replies in their outlook settings. Another issue is, these users are on another domain. I administrate both domains and was wondering if it was possible to set push notification for when users set vacation replies to be sent to an email on another domain.257Views0likes2Comments
