Hi, For convenience and design considerations, I would like to incorporate a Forms survey with 7 questions into an Outlook email. Is this a possibility? At a later date, I would like to improve the output and distribute it around my organisation. I am seeking for improved ways to disseminate user-friendly surveys. Right now, the only option I see is the poll tool, which only allows for one question or stars. Or a hyperlink, which people are less likely to use. Thank you, Oliver16KViews0likes2CommentsSend approval to the right manager
Hi! I want to be able to create a flow that looks like this: Microsoft forms (example order computer from forms admin account) > Approval (closest manager needs to approve, found in office 365(?)) > if approved, mail sent to me for ordering of new computer. I'm very new to flow and have tried some ways but could not get it to work.11KViews0likes7CommentsUser Selects Email Address from Outlook Address Book for Form Approval
Brand new to Forms, and have not found an answer to my question, so I will pose it here. We have a form that requires 2 approvals: Approval 1 is the users Manager or Supervisor or Department Leader. Approval 2 is the head of Purchasing. Approval 1 is where my issue is. The user needs to be able to select their Approver, and in turn the form will then be emailed to the Approver they designated. Get Manager V2 connection is not necessarily appropriate for this. Is it possible to have the user select the name/email from the Outlook address book? Or is there a scenario using Flow / Sharepoint / Etc. that can make this work? Since my company is constantly hiring the Outlook Email address book would be the most up-to-date list of people employed here. I don't think list in Sharepoint would work - but I have only rudimentary grasp of Sharepoint, so if this inaccurate please let me know. Again, I'm brand new to working in Forms, but I have an awesome IT department that can help me out of the back end. I need some direction on if this is possible, and if so - how should this be set up? My simple skills figured out how to make a form and the rudimentary Flow, but I need help to get this next bit sorted out. Thank you for any help! If information already exists on this topic, a link would be greatly appreciated.7.2KViews2likes2CommentsQuick Poll Not Working in GCC
I am creating a new Quick Poll described in https://support.office.com/en-us/article/create-a-quick-poll-in-outlook-46893563-ab12-4bd0-aff7-26f5a488fea0. When my recipients try to vote on the poll from within the message using Outlook Web App they are getting a message "The remote endpoint returned an error (HTTP 403). Please try again later." When using the link embedded in the message instead of the built-in voting tools it works fine. Important to note that this is happening in our Government tenant and not happening in my commercial developer's account.3.8KViews2likes5CommentsNot receiving responses to Forms poll when sent in outlook
I embedded a poll URL in the body of an email yesterday but only seem to be able to see the responses by clicking on the URL and going through to the browser page. I was hoping I'd be able to track responses so I know who to follow up with. Is this possible?829Views0likes0CommentsGraph API does not include forwarded room in "location" field in calendar event.
The next Graph API returns wrong "location" field if the user forwards the calendar event to another room on the web app UI (Outlook calendar view). Even after the another room says "Yes" to the event, the "location" field does not contain that room. That behavior seems to be a bug. Please fix. https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/me/events or /me/calendarview Thank you. Kazuo MakijimaSolved703Views0likes4CommentsUpdate / Fix of the e-mail rules for Outlook 365 & Browser
Hello there, I hope I'm in the right place for this. Today I was reminded of this "bane" called Outlook Mail Rules where I want to put the exact e-mail address, however the filter still is unable to apply some very basic exclusion conditions / filters you would assume should be a thing by now. Each time I set a rule with a from or to that contains a group mail with multiple members like From: "Secretary @ company.com" To:"IT @ company.com" it filters anything from anyone is those groups. A neutral Example: Members of Secretary @ company.com Sam @ company.com Ryan @ company.com Members of IT @ company.com Frank @ company.com Danielle @ company.com Susan @ company.com Conditions: From: "Secretary @ company.com" To: "IT @ company.com" Subject contains: "Bills to pay", "Bills to verify" Actions: Move to folder: "Bills from Secretary" Our automated system sends a mail containing the subject "Bills to pay" as "Secretary @ company.com" to "IT @ company.com". This should be filtered Later Sam sends a mail containing the subject "Bills to pay" to "IT @ company.com". This should NOT be filtered as it's not send from "Secretary @ company.com" and send to "IT @ company.com". Do you see my issue? I don't want to filter mails send by members or exclude them from the conditions but instead it just takes any member from the group mail. It would be great to set it to exactly from that mail instead of anyone from the group. This is one example but we have other systems sending mails and sometimes people use the same subjects to discuss things but that either makes me miss those mails since they are moved to folders and have those mail set to mark as read while I have no idea they even came in. It a regular occurrence and it's getting to a point where it's unacceptable. Is there any way to set this in the conditions of the mail rules or is this a missing feature? I set my rules in outlook.office.com since they always apply and not only when Outlook at work is running. EDIT: Had to change the fake e-mail addresses since there is now @ company.com mailserver afaik and this is for an neutral example.660Views0likes3CommentsChange the forms requestor email
Hi all, hope someone can help me or give me a tip about this: I've created a few forms to be used by the employees in my organization. I've also added a flows so when a form is submitted it goes to the correct responsible department/person. Since the Microsoft application they use the most is outlook, I've also created approvals request using outlook, instead of the 'approvals connection'. It's everything working properly however when a form is filled by another person and submitted, it's my email that shows as requestor (email FROM). Also the requests from others are all in my "sent mailbox". Is there a way to solve this?653Views0likes1Comment
