When we first started using bookings earlier in the year, if you had an appointment in outlook it would show a block for the staff being busy. This is necessary so when manually adding appointments we don't double book a staff member. Now however, those blocks are not showing. Outlook does appear to be pushing the info to bookings, but they only show if you go into the "Calendar and Availability" section of the staff details screen (multiple clicks outside of the main calendar). Going there every single time to book a staff member is not practical. Does anyone know how to get the main calendar to show when staff are busy again?59Views0likes1CommentHow to Filter or Block Non-Business Emails in Microsoft Bookings?
Hi community! 👋 I'm currently using Microsoft Bookings to manage appointment scheduling for a project, and I’m looking for a way to restrict or filter out personal emails (like @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, etc.) from making bookings. What I've Tried So Far: Required custom field asking users to "Enter your business email" Manual review via "Admin Approval" setting Filtering in Outlook after the booking is created But these are still more like workarounds. Is there any built-in feature or third-party integration that can: Block bookings unless the email is from a business domain Auto-decline free/personal email addresses Or at least flag them in the calendar? Bonus Context: I run a digital experience site that blends online booking and content storytelling — one of our examples is this fun article combining real-life stories with booking-based workflows: 🔗 https://tirafficridergame.com/evel-knievel-mining-incident/ It’s not a direct tutorial, but we're expanding into more productivity-related content. Any help or plugin tips would be appreciated! Hi, I want to use Microsoft bookings as the primary calendar system for my company. We currently use Outlook calendar. However, when I click into Microsoft Bookings calendar, it only displays appointments booked via Microsoft bookings. Yes, "Events on Office 365 calendar affect availability" toggle is enabled. Microsoft bookings correctly blocks off time that is busy in Outlook, I just can't see any of those Outlook entries in Microsoft bookings. How can I fix this please? I don't want to have to flick between Outlook calendar and Bookings calendar. Thanks, Irene55Views0likes1CommentMS Bookings glitches across timezones
Hello, thanks for reading. Problem: Staff calendars not appearing properly across time zones in MS Bookings In Microsoft Bookings, staff create recurring Free slots in Outlook to mark availability for schedulers. These slots always display in the business’ timezone, regardless of the viewer’s timezone. However, all other calendar items (including Bookings appointments, as well as outlook events) shift to the local timezone of the calendar viewer. This mismatch causes schedulers to place appointments that appear to fit to them, but staff in other timezones see them shifted outside the intended Free slots, creating conflicts and misaligned bookings. Example: Business timezone = MST. Scheduler timezone = MST. Staff timezone = PST. 1. Staff creates a recurring Free slot from 12:00–1:00pm PST (which shows correctly as 1:00–2:00pm MST in the shared business calendar). 2. Scheduler (in MST) books a 1:00pm MST appointment, believing it fits inside the Free slot. But on the staff’s Outlook calendar, the booking appears at 12:00pm PST, which is outside their Free slot, and at an objectively different time. I have verified that the staff and scheduler have correctly identified their timezones via Outlook on the Web > Settings > General > Language and time > Current time zone.40Views0likes1CommentNo more than 2 slots available for services
Hi, I am currently having an issue with bookings in which I have defined one service for every member of my team. They have different schedules, but some days there may be 5 people at the same time working. However I don't want them to be all on meetings at the same time. Is there an option that allows me that, if two members are scheduled on a meeting on a specific day and time, the other services calendars are unavailable to book? Thanks, Carlos34Views0likes1CommentCan I update existing meeting via API so "Record automaticaly" is on?
Hi Currently we using MS Booking so our students register for the exam. We plan to make is "self serve" so time of the instructor is not required. A meeting got the option "Record and transcribe automatically". I would like to turn it on via API. Is that possible? I checked https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/bookingappointment-update?view=graph-rest-1.0 and https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/bookingbusiness-post-appointments?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http to see if there is any property for "recording" but did not find anything.Solved35Views0likes1CommentBook Time with Me doesn't work when user is logged in
Some of our user are trying to use the "Book Time with Me" page to let customers book meeting with them. The page works great when the person trying to book time is NOT logged into a Microsoft account (they select the "Continue as guest" option) - they can see available times and book a meeting. If they person logs in (with any Microsoft account - work or personal) then they don't see any available time slots OR they get a message "You do not have access to Bookings with me". Anyone know how to get it working for all users?2.4KViews0likes9CommentsMismatch between time zone in Bookings app and Bookings email confirmation
We are experiencing a mismatch between the time zone set in our Bookings app and the time displayed when booking confirmation emails are sent. The appointment times are showing correctly in our Outlook calendars online however customers are receiving two different appointment times (one automatically sent by the email confirmation which is incorrect - an hour late - and the correct time in the body of the email). This is confusing for both our practitioners and our clients. It only started a few weeks ago, up until then we had no issues. We are also having issues with time zones when we try to edit and reschedule existing appointments. We have tried setting the time zones on the Bookings app, Outlook and Microsoft 365 to the Universal Coordinated Time. Any help or advice gratefully received!2.3KViews0likes3CommentsBooking calendar is showing all services deleted
One of our branches opened Bookings today and all their services are listed under Deleted Services. It doesn't appear this way for me but all the staff members in the branch see this view. If they uncheck deleted services, then all the appointments disappear from the calendar. If they go to the Booking calendar in Outlook. the appointments appear fine.4.6KViews2likes13CommentsBookings page freezes browser
Hello, My Bookings page freezes and crashes browsers. It will open and display normally but you are entirely unable to click on anything. Here's what I have tested thus far : - Changing the length and type of meetings - Changing the header image - Unlinking any calendar, resetting connections - Deleting any other Bookings calendar my account was associated with Nothing has helped in any way whatsoever. The problem is not related with my institution as all of my colleagues' account work properly, with similar numbers of meeting types. Has anyone else had that issue? Any other elements I should test? Thank you all for your time!1.5KViews0likes2Comments
