How to revert back to mail from new outlook
On windows 10, inside the the old Mail app I accidentally clicked the try new outlook toggle and ended up in the new outlook app. I tried it, it required adding of all my emails accounts again. Some I have already lost access due to lost of password but the old email was still accessible in the old Mail app. I tried to toggle it off to return to the old Mail App but after I clicked it, opening the old mail app still opens the new outlook. Now I essentially lost a bunch of my old emails.Unable to edit Outlook Meeting's body text (I'm not the organizer).
After the M365 apps monthly updates in our organization. The Organizer can edit the it. But, if the meeting room invite sent to the "Reception" team(Who has the Editor access to room mailbox) to edit the meeting/Accept. Can now only edit the title and not the body text. This was reported by many users. Anyone has come across such issue in recent time? Do you have any solution??
The latest Office Insider Beta Build kills outlook on most installs
This is very annoying. Yesterday I updated my parents computer, they are on Windows 11 with the Office insider beta build. I thought everything seemed fine, I got an email saying that outlook doesn't work. So today I was messing around with windows 10 I have the beta version on that machine and my outlook seems fine, but I am not sure if it was updated to what version she was. But I was curious to see if I just did a reinstall of office on my current build how the machine would handle it since that was what I planned to do on hers, but it broke my outlook the same way it broke hers. The only solution I have found so far is to completely remove microsoft 365, then reinstall office, then set up your email from scratch again. Very annoying. I have to verify but on my windows 10 machine, I even had to download microsoft's feedback and help tool to remove office completely then reinstall. Never going back to the office insider channel again. I get what betas are and understand the risk but your email is very important and needed to re-evaluate trusting microsoft with betas on email, won't make that mistake again.
Outlook subfolder search does not work if shared folders are downloaded to your computer
Problem: Subfolder search does not work if shared folders are downloaded to your computer. My work revolves around shared email folders in Outlook. They all have thousands of folders which makes my computer extremely slow and I have pretty good laptop for email use Dell Precision 5771. One solution to make Outlook to work a lot faster would be to use the Exchange synchronize option and download all shared folders to your computer. This brings a major disadvantege though since the subfolder search only works when you are not using the sync mode and you keep the shared folders in the cloud. Is there anyway to include subfolder search to also work when shared folders are downloaded to your computer? This would make a major difference for every day Outlook usage.Unable to open ,MSG file format(Permission error)
After the recent Office 365 updates, Monthly Enterprise Channel 2305 16501.20242. When, we copy the mail(.MSG) to local drive or Onedrive. It can open in the first try. But, we we try to open again. It pop up with the permission error(Attached the error through this message). Workaround--> We can disable the "Teams" addin in Outlook. It will open without any issues. But, we need the Teams add-ins in Outlook for creating "Teams" Meeting in our day to dat activities. This issue is been affected by many users. Is it an bug from Teams or Outlook. Any Solution for it??
New profile for new outlook experience
I have a lot of profiles on the classic outlook and I could switch easily in between each profiles. But ever since I started using the new experience that has become almost impossible or rather complicated, as I have to switch back to the classic every time before I could switch back between profiles. Is there a much simpler workaround for that?
