This https://youtu.be/xMWDU2vIFTA will demonstrate where are MS Form attachments stored. Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't easily use Tidy the ms forms file upload location directly on the MS Forms user interface. The answer is that MS form attachments are stored in Microsoft Onedrive of the author of the form. This MS form tutorial also outlines an important note about sharing access to the Microsoft Form attachments. While testing File Upload for Forms, Personal Forms automatically started sending me "USER NAME uploaded files to your request for FORM NAME" emails that the files were uploaded to OneDrive. To test, I wanted to see what was behind the "Unsubscribe" link and rather than additional options, it immediately stated "We'll stop emailing you about this type." And then stopped ... but there appears to be no way to re-activate. Even creating a new Form. It appears to be permanently off ... 😞 /_layouts/15/UnsubscribeAlert.aspx... Is there a way to turn them back on ?? Alerts in OneDrive would be an awesome addition in general. For Group Forms, users can create alerts on a library, folder or File. I would love Alert functionality in OneDrive in general.5.6KViews3likes1Comment"Couldn't Update. You don't have permission to access the response data."
I am having issues with an add-in in Excel. I save an Excel spreadsheet of the exported Microsoft Forms' responses in OneDrive. I would like to share this data with other people in my organization. Unfortunately, the response data from Microsoft Forms does not update for anyone other than the Form owner. People, other than the owner of the Form, recieve this error message from the add-in in Excel: "Couldn't Update. You don't have permission to access the response data." Please advise. Why am I not getting email notifications to say responses have been submitted? I created the form through onedrive for business and the email box is checked in the settings. The form also doesn't appear in the forms app! I have to reopen it from the original sharing link?! When I created a form directly through Forms, i was getting the emails, but I wasn't getting a live linked excel spreadsheet. I need both the email notifications of responses, and the live excel sheet! Whats going wrong?2.2KViews0likes4CommentsBasic Forms Questions
Hello all, I'm hoping this question makes sense. Our construction company has a process for setting up a new project which is currently: Project Manager fills out Excel based form stored on our local server>emails document to A/R>A/R sets up job in ERP system and emails PM that setup is complete. As we are now more mobile based, access to the local server isn't always a given, and the forms are not always filled out completely or accurately even when the PM is in front of his/her computer! I have designed a form that captures all the required information in MS Forms, but I would like it to be something that every PM can have on their tablet or phone, can fill out on the fly, and when they hit submit it will send those answers to the A/R department. This would then need to be repeated every time a PM needs to start a new job. Is MS Forms the correct way to go about this? If so, how would I set it up to work the way I want it to, where a submission will go directly to A/R for processing the information. Thanks in advance, and I hope this makes sense!Solved1.9KViews0likes4CommentsMicrosoft Forms with Attachment to Sharepoint
I am trying to generate responses from Microsoft Forms to a SharePoint list, which includes attachments. I have created the list on SharePoint with the appropriate columns to match the types of responses on my form. I have edited the view of my list and made sure the Attachments column is displayed. I have created a Power Automate flow to do this, with the 'Record form responses in SharePoint' Template. When a response is submitted, the attachment files are saved onto my OneDrive. I am having issues uploading documents and other attachments to SharePoint. I have followed this tutorial ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-hiDOPAG-4 ) up to 13.33 but my flow fails and does not record the responses (attachments and other responses) in SharePoint. How do I enable the attachment a user provides in my form to add to my Sharepoint using my flow? Rob_Elliott I saw you had responded to similar issues and am hoping you might be able to help.1.4KViews0likes1CommentUnable to connect forms results to Onedrive file
In our corporate O365 tenant, I've been unable to view my forms/survey results in OneDrive. Everytime I click "Open in Excel", my browser automatically downloads a .xlsx file to my PC. I've seen other users who have been able to click the same button and it would link them to a OneDrive file instead. Anyone know if there's an option I'm missing somewhere to enable Excel Online for Forms results? ~Armen1.3KViews0likes1Comment
