Unable to connect forms results to Onedrive file

In our corporate O365 tenant, I've been unable to view my forms/survey results in OneDrive.  Everytime I click "Open in Excel", my browser automatically downloads a .xlsx file to my PC.  I've seen other users who have been able to click the same button and it would link them to a OneDrive file instead.

 

Anyone know if there's an option I'm missing somewhere to enable Excel Online for Forms results?

    If you made your Form through the Forms applet and not from OneDrive directly, what you're seeing is intended behavior.
