When we click on the Online Meeting button to have a Skype meeting created for a calendar event we always receive this message: Cannot Schedule Online Meeting You cannot schedule this online meeting because there might be issues with your sign in account. Make sure you are signed in to the same you use for Microsoft Outlook. If the problem continues, contact your System Administrator. We are signed in to the same account. Clicking on the meetings tab in Skype for Business pulls our meeting invites and offers join buttons. Clicking on a chat or call contact returns their Exchange / Office 365 contact details. Every bit of integration between the two works, except the ability to create a Skype meeting. Signing into the same account on a Windows client works perfectly fine, clicking the Skype Meeting button in outlook populates the meeting details. So does login to the Office 365 web interface to create Skype meetings. This was first seen (first mac client) a few months ago. There's been two updates since then and no fix. I just built a brand new macbook from scratch yesterday, installed client 10.16.97 and this problem exists on the brand new node.13KViews0likes11CommentsMigrate Hybrid to Online with no on-premise environment
I've ran into an issue whilst migrating to Office 365, specifically Skype. There was previously an on-premise Skype setup, Office 365 was procured and the migration started. A number of pilot users were moved across who now show as 'Online' whilst everyone else shows as 'Online (hybrid)'. Through miscommunication and a complete misunderstanding, the on-premise Skype environment was fully decommissioned, including all DNS changes etc. within a week whilst i wasn't in the office. This means we have a bunch of users still showing as 'Online (hybrid)' and every subsequent new user also has a status of hybrid. Is there a way to force the existing users and any future new user to be 'Online' only?745Views0likes0CommentsCloud PBX with onprem PSTN conferencing.
Just trying to work through a scenario just now, not sure if it's possible or how but would be interested in getting some feedback if anyone has tried similar or can confirm if it's possible. Hybrid Skype for Business setup (Hybrid Exchange etc). -User initially setup onprem, enterprise voice enabled number assigned etc. all working fine (including dial in conferencing) -Assign VoiceRoutingPolicy to the user, license for Skype for Business online, Cloud PBX and move the user to sipfed.online.lync.com, so far so good, the user makes/receives calls routed out/in via onprem SIP. -Dial in conferencing no longer works for the user and when I do a meet now the meeting URL is meet.lync.com etc. Is this expected behavior? Is it possible to utalise onprem dial in conferencing when the user is on Office 365 with Cloud PBX (and NOT using Cloud PSTN)?2.2KViews0likes5Comments
