Hi All, One of my users is facing an issue with the Roadmaps feature in Microsoft Project. The user is assigned a Project Plan 3 license. I have the following settings enabled. However, when the user tries to use this feature, they encounter the following error: ": https://contoso.sharepoint.com/sites/pwa. Change your default PWA site or request permission to this site." I am not familiar with this site. When I checked the SharePoint active sites, I found this site with the following details: Site Name: Project Web App Site Address: https://contoso.sharepoint.com/sites/pwa Do I need to provide access to this site for the user to use the Roadmaps feature? Please guide me.
Project Online Task notes update using Rest Api
Hello, I am able to create a new task and then I can give the value for notes field which works fine but when I try to update the same "Notes " field then the update doesnt happen using the rest api I am using below rest api with Patch method _api/ProjectServer/Projects(<project_id>)/Draft/Tasks(<Task_id>) Body: {'Notes': value}
MS Project - Different links between operations in print and processing view
Dear Community, I have a problem with the links of my processes. In order to be able to compare the former dates (target dates) with the actual dates (actual) or the postponed dates, I have carried out a target/actual comparison via the GANTT diagram monitoring view. However, something does not seem to work with the display of the link lines between the tasks. The following problem description: In my Gantt chart view (image 1), the links are displayed correctly by the system, just as I would like them to be. The actual dates (on the right-hand side) are linked with connecting lines. However, if I then want to print the plan, the links refer to the target dates (on the left) of the activities and no longer to the postponed or actual dates (on the right). I would also like to have the views from image 1 as a print view so that I can send it to the customer as a PDF. What could be the problem? My thoughts go in the direction of the different stored dates (Fig. 3) or bar types (see Fig. 4). However, I have tried everything and have not found a solution to the problem. Can anyone help me? Microsoft Project for the web API
Hello community, I need to work with MS Project for web over api, CRUD projects, CRUD tasks and etc fromhttps://project.microsoft.com/ with using an API. I searched and couldn't find any documentation or SDK to do it. Only one page from offecial source about API here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/project-for-the-web/projectforweb-admin-home that point to https://devblogs.microsoft.com/microsoft365dev/tag/project/ The both links without any API description for Project for the web. Is there any documentation for an API to integrate with Project for the web? Thank you
Project for the Web / New Planner
We currently use Project for the Web. I have been told that it will become obsolete and be replaced by the NEW Planner - is this correct? If so, is it simple to transition over? What do we need to do, to ensure that we have a continuous project management tool? Is there a 'hard' end date for Project for the web?
