30 TopicsThe Future of Delve
Having noticed conversations popping up here and on Twitter about the future of Delve in Office 365 I’d like to put out a question to the Microsoft guys and girls on here about the future roadmap. The lack of updates around Boards and Blogs is evident. We’re happy to recognise the advances of Microsoft Graph across the Office 365 suite but clarity on Delve would be welcome. Thoughts Mark-Kashman danholme Naomi Moneypenny? Happy to hear from other Microsoft stakeholders.Solved57KViews14likes45CommentsDelve boards no longer available for search results
It seems like the ability to add search results (files/pages/videos) to boards have been lost in the latest Delve update as results are no longer displayed as cards. Is this intentional? Without the ability to add search results, Boards start becoming obsolete in my opinion.7.1KViews3likes17CommentsNEW "People Experiences" throughout Office 365
UPDATE: you can now view the on-demand video recording of the "Discover what's new and what's coming for Office Delve" day 1 breakout session from #MSIgnite 2016. Microsoft today is introducing new “people experiences” throughout Office 365. “People experiences” in Office 365 help employees stay in the know – by finding content through people they work with; find and share expertise; and connect with each other in one click – all within context, and within the apps and experiences they already use today. The announcements cover three main offerings: • NEW Delve Windows 10 app for desktop and mobile • Intelligent people cards throughout Office 365 • Updates to Office 365 profile pages Please review the new blog post on blogs.office.com to learn more, “Connect to expertise and content with new people experiences throughout Office 365" and install Delve app for Windows 10 now! :robothappy: Customers are faced with information and document overload. And often the real trick is not what you know, but who you know. And then stretch that a tad more to say it’s really what “they know” that promotes a gain in productivity. “People Experiences” help our customers tap into the power and value of other people – each other – promoting intuitive, proactive knowledge sharing. It helps businesses build a more open, informed and proactive network – one that improves who knows who, and who benefits from what others know. We look forward to hearing what you think, Mark Full URL for the new blog if you need to copy/paste: https://blogs.office.com/2016/09/26/connect-to-expertise-and-content-with-new-people-experiences-throughout-office-365/6.7KViews13likes13CommentsPeople cards
In Ignite video demos, I can see the user's office location in the People card. In our O365 people cards, I do not see office location on the People card. What steps do I need to take to get that property to appear on the People card? There seems to be a lot of conflicting information out there about ability to "customize" what we see on the People card and how/if the SharePoint User profile settings interact with People cards.4.9KViews0likes2CommentsOffice Graph Disabled, Office Delve features have been enabled automatically
Customer O365 Production is configured to disable Office Graph, hence Delve is not available. However in recent days we are seeing content, that was not showing up for the users on desktop browsers and mobile apps. In browser we can see News from sites on the /sharepoint.aspx page Following Suggested sites From iOS Mobile SharePoint app we can see Frequent From a SharePoint Site on the app, we can see Activity Content in the News Tab What has changed in recent days to exhibit such behaviour? Office Graph is definitely disabled in SharePoint admin center. Any one seen or experienced this? From end user perspective it means that SharePoint App (mobile) is now not showing Office Graph is required messages, but from security and compliance perspective we do need to understand, how/why this content is visible even when Office Graph is disabled.4.7KViews0likes1CommentHybrid Delve - Content surfacing and signals from on-premises environments
If cloud hybrid search is configured, will on-premises content surface on Delve Home, Me, Person pages or will it appear only when content is searched via Delve search box? Also, does Office graph capture signals from on-premises environments for hybrid configurations or only from Office 365? If yes, which signals are collected from on-premises environments?3.9KViews0likes7CommentsUsers get "old" user profile (personimmersive.aspx) instead of Delve profile
Hi all, A customer of mine would like to use the Delve profiles more, but the "my profile" link in Office 365 redirects them to the old experience. Currently, they have to go to Delve > Me to see their Delve profile. I checked to see if there is a setting for that, but I can't find anything. By the way, of course we have the Office Graph enabled, otherwise we probably couldn't even see Delve in the app launcher. Is there a way to force the Delve profile for them? Thanks, DanielSolved3KViews1like3Comments“View Profile” button in Delve
Hi Guys, I think some Delve update reached our production tenant and now we can't see SharePoint user profile properties. It is only possible to see the custom profile properties of users who have modified their profile in someway eg: by adding skills. If they havent then the "View Profile" link does not appear. If user add something into "About me" or other fields "View Profile" button will appear Any idea how to fix this issue? Thanks2.5KViews0likes7CommentsDelve Home Page is empty
My Delve home page is empty with only a little zone saying something like «Nothing to display» (I am using french UI so this is my own translation). When the page loads, I briefly see some cards but they are replace with an empty screen. If I use the mobile app, I do see the cards I was seeing before. My URL changed to https://can.delve.office.com and I do not remember if the lost of content coincide but I think the timing of those changes is close. Am I alone?2.5KViews0likes4Comments
