40 TopicsForms: Time input question
In Office 365 Forms, I am attempting to create an event request form. I do not appear to be able to add a question for TIME of Day. I see a template for DATE but not TIME. In Google Forms "include Time" is an option for Date Questions in the contextual sub-menu. Is there someplace to add this function perhaps that I am missing? Ultimately I would like to add a script to the form that would auto-create an Outlook Calendar event on a shared calendar at the date and time on the form submission.204KViews35likes96CommentsCan you embed a Forms survey into an Outlook email?
Hi, For convenience and design considerations, I would like to incorporate a Forms survey with 7 questions into an Outlook email. Is this a possibility? At a later date, I would like to improve the output and distribute it around my organisation. I am seeking for improved ways to disseminate user-friendly surveys. Right now, the only option I see is the poll tool, which only allows for one question or stars. Or a hyperlink, which people are less likely to use. Hi! I want to be able to create a flow that looks like this: Microsoft forms (example order computer from forms admin account) > Approval (closest manager needs to approve, found in office 365(?)) > if approved, mail sent to me for ordering of new computer. I'm very new to flow and have tried some ways but could not get it to work.11KViews0likes7CommentsMy Feedback on Microsoft Forms
Microsoft Forms is really a wonderful app that we get within Office 365 package. I really liked its interface while creating a form and the interface that is shown to the person who fills up the form is also quite attractive. The summary of responses, the graphical representation of data, they're awesome! However, there are some things that must be considered to make Microsoft Forms the best form creating app. There is no feature of adding custom header images in the form, leaving user no freedom to customize the appearance of the form. The responses are shown in 'Read Only' mode in Excel (which is installed on PC). There should be feature to show the responses in Excel Online. And we should be allowed to edit them too. Because of the lack of the second feature, I'm facing a lot of problems in managing the responses I'm getting on my form. I hope the team will look upon my feedback and take appropriate actions. Lastly, I would like to thank the team for developing Microsoft Forms and making lives easier. I look forward to use more and more apps from Microsoft. Thank you!Solved7.2KViews4likes8CommentsOffice 365 users in Forms
Hi Hope someone can help with this? I have a form where users need to specify a person from our office 365 tenant. The way we do this now is to get them to enter the email address of that user. We then run a flow that turns that into a user in a list that the flow populates from the Form entries. Unfortunately sometimes people don't put the email in correctly, or write a name instead. Is there a way to get the form to capture a user from Office 365? So when they type the name it guesses it, like in SharePoint? Thanks! "File upload" option is only available when set Microsoft Forms “Only people in my organization can respond” or “Specific people in my organization can respond” is the selected setting. When we set, "Anyone can Respond" the option "Upload File" greyed out3.3KViews0likes2CommentsForm always shows previous submission
I have a user that when they open a form, it always shows their previous submission rather than being blank. I've verified they are looking at the new form URL (responsepage) instead of a previous submissions URL (ResponseDetailPage), but no matter what, it always shows as if they were looking at the previous submission. The form is set to only allow users within the organization, and for multiple submissions. It works normal for other users, and in my testing I can see both the blank form as well as previous submissions, and switch back and forth between the two with no problems. We've also tested in an incognito window, clearing cache and cookies, but it always only shows the last submission for him, both of us can be looking at the exact same URL (the responsepage URL for a blank form), and it will be blank for me, but filled in like it was the previous submission details for him. At a loss for this one, anyone have an idea of why it does that for him??Solved2.8KViews0likes5CommentsAdding Digital Signature to Microsoft Forms
Hi, I am creating a membership registration form in Forms and wish to add a digital signature, I have searched and find that there seems to be a capability on the desktop platform, however I use a Mac and cannot find any option for digital signatures on the Web based Forms tool. Is there any way to add this to the design on a Mac? Thank you2.5KViews0likes2CommentsUnable to save my Microsoft form response
Hi all, I filled in a form yesterday and I was directed to a ‘Thank You’ page after submitting the form. However, when I clicked the “save my responses” button, it says that my account is not enabled for Microsoft Forms. I’d like to know if this still means that my submission went through properly? And why does the above message occur Thank you in advance.Solved2.5KViews0likes2Comments
