Hi, Case: I have recording platform for Teams policy based recording, but based on Microsoft definitioin (?) there is only a callChainID available on the recordings. The callChainID is available only when the recording is done for the call or meeting: Get callRecord If I do have a meeting ID or the join URL to Teams meeting, then question is, is it possible to find the correct callchainID? Reason to find the recording is to enrich the metadata of the recording with business data. The meeting details can be found using the: Get onlineMeeting I just haven't had possibilities to see if the callchainID is already returned when getting online meeting.1.4KViews0likes5CommentsExplicit recording consent not working in the new Teams app
We have enabled explicit recording consent in our tenant: https://office365itpros.com/2023/03/13/explicit-consent-for-teams-recordings/ This works fine in the "old" Teams client, but anyone using the new Teams app cannot enable their microphone when recording is activated, and hence not consent and participate in meetings. Anyone got this to work in the new Teams app?1.8KViews0likes2CommentsMeeting recording in a single Tile
When I tried to record the class in Teams channel, I find that the recorded video is appearing in Tiles even though the teacher's video is spotlighted. To get the teacher video only we need to disable the video option to the members or attendees. This is restricting us from create the class recordings and share to the students at a later date if they are absent for a class. Is there any such planning for Microsoft in their Road Map? Please share me if there is such link in the User's voice.1.1KViews0likes1CommentPeer to Peer Call Recording for Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams has now officially released a much-awaited feature which was missing from Microsoft Teams as well as Skype for Business Application. Recording the Peer to Peer Calls in now officially available in Microsoft Teams Client. Now we can record the Peer to Peer Recording like Microsoft Teams Meeting and the recording gets stored on Microsoft Stream. There are some license pre-requisite that needs to be adhered to be capable to record the calls. Currently all the recording can be shared within the organization but in case we want to share the recording with external users we need to down the recording and share the recording via OneDrive or SharePoint Online. Hello, I am a teacher and we have our live classes in Microsoft Teams. We have to record all of our lessons in case anyone missed or wants to go back to see something. In the recordings, it shows me and 3 other participants. I am reading books and showing things on the calendar behind me so in the recordings I just want it to show my video. Since my students are viewing on an ipad, me showing a book on 1/4 of the screen is not going to be big enough. Is there a way to do this so that the recordings only shows my video (and any screens I share)? Thank you, Caitlin977Views0likes0Comments
