Using Copilot for Outlook to provide meeting date options
Currently, a team member is tasked regularly with not only finding an open slot for several people during a specific period of time/dates, but that team member must also evaluate whether there are any internal meetings that could be moved to accommodate the meeting if no other options exist. Can Copilot do something like this yet? When I was playing around with the system, it didn't seem to be reading others' calendars well, even availability, much less knowing if their meeting was internal.
Part 7: Copilot Pages × Teams — One Screen, No More Switching
Switching apps kills meetings. Silence. Dead air. Mistakes. The cure? One screen. Copilot Pages × Teams = Zero switching. Prepare, run, wrap — all in Pages. “Open once, close with confidence.” In Part 6, I proposed a “Feedback Dashboard” to connect users and Microsoft in continuous improvement. Now in Part 7, let’s face the toughest meeting problem: constant app switching. On the other side of the screen, nobody sees what’s happening — only waiting and broken focus. The solution is simple: don’t switch at all. Copilot Pages becomes the single cockpit for meetings: 1.Before — prepare everything in one Page. 2.During — dynamic sidebar and Teams control box. 3.After — results sync back automatically. Benefits • No more “Where’s the file?” moments. • No more dead air while someone fumbles with apps. • Teams and Pages finally feel like one seamless cockpit. In short: “Open Pages, run the meeting, close with confidence. Creating Work Instructions/Process from a video with Copilot
I'm looking to document a process in the most efficient way possible. Has anyone been able to use Copilot to interpret a video from Teams or a screen recording and have it create accurate work instructions? Would like to save time and avoid manually typing work instructions by potentially using Copilot to speed up this process. Any tutorials would be much appreciated.
We need help solving a critical integration gap between Microsoft 365 Copilot and Salesforce.
The challenge: We want Copilot to access Salesforce data (including custom objects) while honoring each user’s Salesforce permissions—profiles, field‑level security, and sharing rules. Current out‑of‑box connectors don’t support this. Using an all‑access integration account is a compliance risk. Why it matters: Copilot is only valuable if answers are both accurate and secure. If a user sees data in Copilot they shouldn’t in Salesforce, that’s a governance nightmare. The Problem The boundaries between apps are too strong, so to users they appear as completely separate worlds. The Challenge If this siloed culture continues, even new features will not solve the root issue — they will only add more complexity. My Proposal (Parts 1–3) That’s why I made my proposals in Part 1–3: Part 1: Simplify Copilot fragmentation Part 2: Vertical navigation to prevent getting lost Part 3: Dynamic sidebar for meetings Feasibility This is not an impossible idea. With Graph API and Fluent UI, plus existing side panels (e.g., Teams), unified lists, switching, and a meeting sidebar can all be implemented. It’s mainly integration and UX alignment, which makes it low-cost and high-impact. My Ask So please, prioritize user experience over team pride. In Part 2, I focused on the vertical sidebar UX for personal work — helping individuals stay organized and avoid confusion. But in meetings, the challenge is even bigger: participants open different files, the view fragments, and the team quickly loses alignment. I’ve tested this myself by lining up apps in the current sidebar. But that model is essentially personal: files still open in separate windows, there is no unity, and meetings feel disrupted. That’s why Part 3 introduces a dedicated dynamic sidebar for meetings. With Copilot Pages as the hub, this sidebar integrates all participants’ files into one vertical scroll: Shared visibility – instantly see what others are viewing. No interruptions – because all participants’ files are shared, there’s no need to stop and search. Continuous flow – no screen switching; one unified view where discussion never derails. The breakthrough is clear: you never have to close the meeting screen. All participants’ files remain visible, and even files opened later are added automatically without disrupting the presenter. Benefits Meetings run without disruption; context is never lost. Alignment is automatic: the entire team stays in sync. This is not a minor UI tweak — it redefines how meetings work. 👉 In short: “Dynamic Sidebar → Zero interruptions. Deleting AI developed meeting recaps
Hello, We have recently begun utilizing the meeting transcript and AI generated transcript functionality for our meetings. However, we can discuss potentially sensitive information on our calls and so we would like to understand how to delete the AI notes from the recap once we have had adequate time to digest and review. I can see how to delete the full transcript, but I do not see an option to delete the AI meeting notes. And we need to confirm that once deleted they are cleared for good and cannot be deemed discoverable. Thank you for help that anyone can provide.
Create an SOP with screenshots from a meeting recording
MS Copilot can prepare notes from a transcript, but it cannot take relevant screenshots from a meeting's recording (video). It does not accept MP4 files at all. I was expecting this functionality to be available, but it is not. There are some websites and tools available on the Internet that claim to help with this, but I am not comfortable using them as I do not want to compromise my company's data. Is there any other Microsoft tool available that can help with this? Please note that it needs to create a step-by-step SOP from a video recording, providing a description of each step along with respective screenshots. Kindly help!
