SharePoint Modern Page custom column layouts
Hello, I need to build the following layouts (4-column content and Org Chart / Structure) in SharePoint Modern Page but am having trouble determining which tools to use. 4-column Content: Org Chart: The current problem I have is that the columns for the page layout currently is set max at 3. For the Org Chart, the layout is giving me problems as well since the image of each person is parallel to their name and position (I thought the Text editor webpart would be able to handle it but it doesn't allow images there). Please help guide me what tools I can use or what I can do to replicate the contents from above. For the Org Chart, it doesn't necessarily have to be the same layout as above but at least something to display Org Structure and Employee Details.
Intranet Site Structure with Hub Sites
Hi, all. I have a project currently where I am to build out a sample of our existing Intranet using modern sites, so that we can show leadership not only how much we will benefit from the transition (new technologies that become available to us, etc), but also how the transition will look. IN this new "hub site - associated site" structure, however, I'm a little confused about the layout. In the end, I want our new Intranet to be structured in a way that will allow us to not only take full advantage of all of the most current technologies, but also future-proof it as much as possible. Therefore, I am seeking advice on how to accomplish this. Currently, the section I am building in my sample currently exists in our Classic Intranet, as: Intranet > Product Org > Products and Services > ProdOps 1. The first question I have is a bit of a clarification: in this new "hub sites" and "associated sites" world, is it semantically correct to create sub-sites anymore? Or do we just make sites and associate them to each other? 2. Secondly, I understand that we create Communication sites and convert them to the hub Sites. In my structure, I would probably want to originally make the Intranet and Product Org sites as Communication sites, convert them to Hub sites, and then associate them all with each other, correct? 3. For a site like Products and Services (which currently has sub-sites), what types of Modern site is recommended? It's not just a single team, and will either need to link to (or house directly) document and asset libraries. Originally, I thought a Communication site, but then I read that those cannot have sub-sites, and that if I want those, I should consider Publishing sites instead. But THEN, I read that publishing sites are not available as modern sites, and that doesn't work for us. 4. One part I am trying to incorporate in this new structure is our wiki. I think it would work great to have each component of the wiki to be in each department's own site as wiki page libraries. HOWEVER, I read that with wiki page libraries, we cannot control the entire layout of the page, only the content. We will want to design it all out, with full control of the pages with SPFx, Office Fabric UI, Fabric React, and other technologies. Therefore: Would an Enterprise wiki be a better idea? Is the Enterprise wiki a modern site? Would I built it as a separate site and just associate it to each and every other site? 5. Associating sites: Currently the job of associating sites seems extremely manual and tedious and error-prone (leaving out a site that should be associated to one of the millions of others, seems inevitable), so what is the best practice to automatically ensure sites re associated with each other? App shifted towards right in landscape RTL mode
When the device is in landscape with RTL mode, the app got shifted towards right. Because of which all the touch points and areas are shifted which affects app behaviour. Attaching screenshot for the Microsoft's Edge app. I am trying these things on emulator, please let me know the same bug is there on real device or not. Thank you.
SharePoint 2019 (On Prem)-Vertical section layout is not available for Modern site in SP 2019
Hi, On the modern page of SharePoint 2019 the "Vertical section" layouts is not available. The same option is available for SharePoint Online as shown in the below screen Please can anyone help me with the workaround to achieve the same vertical section layouts in SharePoint 2019(On Prem) Thanks

wrong A4 Layout in word on mac
my word documents don't have the correct Layout and sizing. the height of my document is showing as the height for an A4 paper, but in reality it's not the correct height. Which means I can't use the header and the whole upper part of a document is cut off. everything should be calibrated to the correct extend but it's still not working. Microsoft Edge Version 91.0.836.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) if you don't have it yet, it's because of CFR so with this new behavior, you can move your mouse/finger to the left/right edge of the screen to reveal Web Widget. of course, there are other ways to access it too. I've encountered a couple of small layout bugs while using the new Bookings page. If you add a larger logo to your bookings page and confirmation emails, it looks rather small and should be made possible to appear larger. It is fine if the logo is just an emblem. When having multiple service items to select on a Bookings page, a button "Show more services" appears. When your page is in English this appears fine, but using another language (eg. Dutch), the text of the button is longer and not all of the text is visible. Maybe also add an option to show all the services no matter how many there are. Hovering over the organization's website link and "Powered by Microsoft Bookings"-link at the bottom give them a white color and make them barely to not readable. The white color probably comes from the css of the older Bookings page which had a darker gray background. In the new Bookings it should be changed to have a darker color when hovering over the link. It would also be nice to make the organization's telephone number clickable on the bottom of the page."Fit to" option of Page Setup does not (seem) work
Hi all, I have a long narrow table in my MS Excel 2016 MSO (16.0.9029.2167) 64bit, and I want to print it as two-column per page style. It is narrow and can fit to page in two or even more columns. I open Page Setup dialog box and on the Page tab check "Fit it" radio button and set 2 fo "pages wide" setting and leave blank for "by tall". But it does not affect how excel places my table on a page - it still goes one column on the left side of the page. No matter what I set for "Fit to __ pages wide" setting - excel still lays the table as one column on thу left part of the page, the right part id blank. Can you please advise on how I layout my narrow table in two or more columns per page ? Thank you, Roman.
