GitHub Copilot has announced major updates to its AI model, resulting in significant improvements to the quality and responsiveness of code suggestions. The updated Codex model has led to a large-scale improvement in the quality of code suggestions and a reduction in the time it takes to serve those suggestions to users. In addition, the new vulnerability filtering system uses advanced AI models to detect insecure coding patterns in real-time, making suggestions more secure. These updates are available to all users of GitHub Copilot and are free to students with the GitHub Students Developer Pack.22KViews2likes0CommentsAutopilot change the operating systems default installed language
Hi everyone, We started working with Autopilot. When we used SCCM to deploy a computer the OS was EN-US. Now we want to know if there is a way to change an already installed OS language to EN-US. For example, a person bought an HP laptop in France, the OS that HP installed on the computer would probably be customized to French beforehand. meaning the users folder name would be in French. My question is if there is any way to change everything to EN-US even though it was installed as French. I don't talk about changing the international settings of the computer. I am talking about changing everything to default EN-US. Rahamim.Solved23KViews0likes7CommentsExcel Language Options
Hello everyone, Hopefully someone might have an answer for my situation. Any feedback or suggestions are welcome. I work as a designer for a company that produces document books within a variety of languages, including english, french, greek, Russian, Arabic and Hebrew. Currently, I use a variety of programs and files to create translation documents for each other the languages. What I am trying to do is create one Excel document with all of my languages and translations and export that as a CSV to import into Indesign with Data Merge. My current problem is that I can't seem to change between writing styles for different languages, such as from left-to-right typing to right-to-left typing. Any advice or potentially an easier way to do what I am trying to do is appreciated. Thank you.1.4KViews0likes2CommentsUI/UX problem in Edge with RTL languages (Right to Left)
notice anything strange? the place of Edge side bar and vertical tabs is changed when you use a language in Edge that supports Right-to-left. this is very annoying. I want to use a language that supports RTL but I don't want the location of everything in Edge to change. it's not just these 2 elements, everything in Edge UI changes. the location of tabs, the address bar, favorite bar, the menu, everything. there really needs to be an option to keep Edge in Left-to-Right format (LTR) and still use any language we want in Edge, it's a must have. the location of buttons and UI are something that I'm used to, when it becomes RTL, everything goes haywire and I get lost. I'm sending this using feedback button on Edge, if you happen to be using a RTL language or know it, please try it and send a feedback from your browser too. let's get this fixed.3.2KViews0likes0CommentsLanguage preferences automatic adding extra language
Hi all, We have Windows 10 Education 1709 and 1803 deployed, during the installation of the OS we add the Hebrew language via PowerShell. At first, the user has two languages in the language bar: English (United States) US keyboard and Hebrew (Standard) Keyboard. After working for some time another keyboard layout named Hebrew Keyboard is added to the language list. When this happens, I check the languages and I don't see where it comes from. I remove and add the languages, remove and add the keyboards and in the end it fixes it self. I tried the registry key IgnoreRemoteKeyboardLayout, didn't work. My windows country and region is Israel and Windows display language is English (United States). I read about editing the Preload registry but also found it not helpful. On one computer we tried setting "let me use a different input method for each app window" and it worked until the end of the day. When the user logged in the next day the issue returned. On another computer just removing the languages seemed to be working. I also read somewhere about deleting the keyboard layout DLL file, but that sounds harsh. I would really appreciate the help, this is driving me nuts. :) Thanks, Rahamim.2.7KViews0likes7Comments
