I’m extremely frustrated with the process of trying to recover my Microsoft account. My account was compromised, and the person who got into it changed the email address associated with the account. Because of that, my original email is no longer recognized, and I cannot sign in or use the normal password recovery process. I have tried the recovery form, the Sign-In Helper, Microsoft support pages, chat support, phone support, and multiple other suggested recovery routes. Every single option seems to send me back to another automated system, another bot, or another page that eventually circles me back to the same place I already started. I have also run into technical errors when trying to start support chat, including the system trying to use my phone number as a UPN and failing because it expects an email-format username. At this point, I feel like I am being blocked from even reaching a real person who can properly review what happened. This is becoming a serious issue for me because I am a college student and I rely on my personal Microsoft account for access to services, files, applications, logins, and other resources I need to complete my schoolwork. Not having access is actively interfering with my ability to work efficiently and keep up with my responsibilities. I understand that Microsoft has security procedures in place to protect accounts, and I am fully willing to verify ownership. I can provide previous account information, old passwords I remember, devices I have used, purchase information, and other identifying account details. What I need is an actual support representative who can review the situation instead of being continuously redirected through automated recovery tools that are not resolving the problem. I am not asking for security to be bypassed. I am asking for a legitimate way to speak with someone who can help me recover an account that was taken over and had its sign-in information changed. If anyone from Microsoft Support sees this, or if anyone has successfully recovered an account after the primary email/alias was changed by an attacker, I would greatly appreciate guidance on how to reach the correct department or escalation team.36Views0likes0CommentsUnexpected ₹147K Claude charges despite active Microsoft for Startups sponsorship
Hi Microsoft for Startups team and community, I am a Microsoft for Startups participant using an Azure Sponsorship subscription. I recently discovered unexpected charges from Anthropic Claude through Microsoft Foundry. The Claude usage was billed as Marketplace/SaaS charges instead of being deducted from my Microsoft for Startups Azure sponsorship credits. My Azure Sponsorship credit is still active and has a substantial unused balance. However, my Azure Cost Analysis currently shows approximately ₹491K in September charges, with approximately ₹475K categorized as SaaS, primarily related to Claude. I currently have an invoice amount of approximately ₹147K due. I stopped the Claude deployments as soon as I discovered the charges to prevent further usage. I contacted Azure Billing Support multiple times, but the requests were closed with a message saying that the issue falls outside Billing and Subscription Support because it involves Marketplace/third-party services. I was directed to Marketplace refund resources instead. I also tried to contact Microsoft for Startups support. I was previously instructed by the Microsoft for Startups team to use the Founders Hub support portal, but my account now redirects to the newer Microsoft for Startups experience in Azure, where I cannot find the documented startup program support option. I need help getting this escalated to the appropriate Microsoft for Startups or Marketplace team for an actual review. Specifically, I would like to know: What is the correct support channel for this situation? Can Microsoft review the unexpected Claude charges? Is a discretionary credit, refund, or billing adjustment possible given the circumstances? I can provide screenshots showing my active sponsorship, remaining Azure credits, Claude charges, and invoice privately if required. Thank you.19Views0likes0CommentsHow can a Microsoft for Startups user escalate unexpected Claude Marketplace billing?
I have approximately ₹9.49 lakh of Microsoft for Startups Azure credits remaining. I deployed Anthropic Claude through Microsoft Foundry and later received invoice G183537293 for ₹70,716.76 because the Claude Marketplace usage was not covered by the sponsorship credits. I understand the eligibility rule now. My question is about escalation. Azure Billing has told me Marketplace adjustments are handled by the publisher. Anthropic has told me Azure Marketplace billing is processed through Microsoft. I have therefore been redirected between both parties. I also found a previous Microsoft for Startups case involving similar unintended Claude/Foundry usage where the customer reported receiving a $1,000 special-exception credit: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5728641/azure-ai-foundry-presents-third-party-ai-models-as?utm_source=chatgpt.com Is there a Microsoft for Startups, Marketplace billing, or Foundry escalation team authorized to review a one-time goodwill credit in this situation? I am specifically looking for the correct escalation path, not asking the Q&A community to access or modify my invoice.44Views1like1CommentMicrosoft Contacts

Founder of OrbitSub (orbitsub.com). When I sign in to enroll in Microsoft for Startups / Founders Hub, it redirects me to portal.azure.com/#home instead of showing an application form — I can't apply. Tried multiple times, normal + incognito. Please help me enroll or tell me the correct step. Screenshot attached.103Views0likes0CommentsIssues with syncing calendar from outlook calendar in taskbar
I am wondering how I can sync a specific calendar from outlook to be the one that the events get pulled from to appear in the taskbar calendar that is displayed when clicking the date/time tool. Currently the calendar that appears when I click the date and time section is blank, and trying to make a new event from that popup does not save anything. When go into the outlook calendar app, I can see the multiple email accounts and their respective calendar, but yet no events from these calendars show up when looking at the calendar popup from the taskbar. When trying to make an event in this calendar popup, it even gives me the option to save the event to one of my outlook accounts (the gmail account I have integrated), but does not successfully save any event anywhere. I am wondering what is required to be able to see the events from my outlook calendar in this popup, and to be able to quickly and conveniently make events from this taskbar popup and have them save to my actual outlook calendar. Including a screenshot of the calendar in taskbar that I am requesting help with incase of any confusion.237Views0likes3CommentsAzure Startup Credit Issue
Hi, I've been trying to verify my LinkedIn account to unlock $1,000 in Azure startup credits for over a week. Every time the OAuth callback hits error and, I get: {"error":{"code":"BadRequest","message":"BadRequest (Conflict)"}}. I've revoked all LinkedIn app permissions on both LinkedIn and Microsoft sides. I suspect that the issue is an orphaned LinkedIn identity record in your backend from a previous failed attempt. My support ticket has gone unanswered for over a week now and I also created a post in the learn community that went unanswered for days now. Could you point me to the right person? Happy to provide any account details needed.326Views1like3CommentsAll my unassigned tasks vanished overnight
Hi, about 300 of my unassigned tasks -those not on lists- vanished overnight. All of them. My tasks on lists seem to be all there. The previous day, I was doing cleaning on that list, since the android app stopped synching, and it was sluggish before that. I had over 50000 completed tasks on that list. I moved those 300 uncomplete tasks to a temporary list, deleted all completed tasks, then moved those 300 back, and deleted the temprorary list. I most definitely did not delete those 300 tasks in question, and I checked hours before going to bed and going to bed that on my phone, in the desktop app and in my desktop browser they were all present and in synch, and addings tasks was very snappy and synched across devices. Official chat was completely useless and I couldn't even reach or be connected to anybody in the correct department after banging my head against a wall for an hour. I have little hope of fixing this, but is there anything I can do, or should I just finally bail out of using this buggy mess of a software? Thanks188Views0likes1CommentNew to Access
Hello! I am new to MS Access, and currently looking for some advice in working the program. In using Access, I am working with a team that has data in arts and crafts projects that fall under many different categories, which are being exported from Excel. I’ve attached an image of what this data looks like, but I’ve also explained it below. For instance, the data might be sorted into something like 5 fields, those being: project name, square inches, client name, and weight. An example would be: Project 1, 100 sq inches, Client A, 50 lbs Project 2, 200 sq inches, Client B, 100 lbs Project 3, 300 sq inches, Client C, 150 lbs Etc. Then, we’d have a second collection of data that would branch off of the first set. For instance, the data might be sorted into something like 4 fields, being: brand new design, concept design, restoration, or simple cleaning. Finally, a third set of data would branch off of this information, detailing that each of the aforementioned categories have their own data. Such as, brand new design projects use X brand of glue, Y brand of paint, and are always Z color. Whereas, simple cleaning projects might use a totally different brand of glue, paint, and color. Now, my question is, is it possible in MS Access to be presented with all of the data based on what I ask for? Such as, say, I want to view all projects that have used X brand of glue. Am I able to create a database that will pull that up? Or if I wanted to view all brands of paint used ONLY in cleaning projects? Essentially, is it possible to create a database that can show me any combination of information based on what I ask for, creating relationships with one another to search both forwards and backwards with simplicity? If so, what research should I do to approach this, or what other direction do you suggest that I go in if it is not possible? I appreciate the help :)Solved222Views0likes3CommentsHow can I remove the shortcuts with AltGr?

I've tried to find and remove the shortcuts for Add a New Commentary (AltGr + A) and the topic structure (AltGr + o) but I can't find them in the list of shortcuts (Options > keyboard shortcuts > Personalize) I really need that ;(136Views0likes1Comment
