Can you embed a Forms survey into an Outlook email?
Hi, For convenience and design considerations, I would like to incorporate a Forms survey with 7 questions into an Outlook email. Is this a possibility? At a later date, I would like to improve the output and distribute it around my organisation. I am seeking for improved ways to disseminate user-friendly surveys. Right now, the only option I see is the poll tool, which only allows for one question or stars. Or a hyperlink, which people are less likely to use. I've created a Form and want to use Flow to send a customized, automatic email response to the email address the user provides in one of the Form fields. I am too unfamiliar with Flow to know how to do this, and the question is too specific to find a readily available solution elsewhere. I started with a Flow template titled "Send an email to responder when response submitted in Microsoft Forms" but this template assumes the respondent is signed in with an Outlook account, and I don't know how to modify it to send the automatic email to an address from the respondent's input instead.Solved16KViews1like4CommentsMicrosoft Forms notifications with shared form
Hello dear community, I have the following problem: I have created a feedback form with MS Forms. This should automatically insert its results into an Excel table available online. So far so good. But so that my colleagues also have access to this table, I have moved the form to a specially created Teams group (also so that the Excel table takes over all changes live online). Since then, however, no one has received an email notification when the form has been completed (the corresponding box is ticked in the form). Can anyone help me? Briefly about the initial situation: The feedback form should be completed by our guests and a group of employees should be notified by e-mail when a form has been completed. It is equally important to collect the results in a self-synchronising Excel spreadsheet, which our team must have access to. Both for viewing and for making changes. This is because responsibilities need to be assigned and comments made manually. As I said, the core problem is the non-existent e-mail notification as soon as I link the form to an online Excel spreadsheet. Is there a workflow for my problem or am I perhaps making a mistake? I look forward to your answers and thank you in advance. PS: Happy New Year!9.7KViews0likes5CommentsUnable to upload .msg files via forms
Hello All, I want my users to upload .msg files through forms. They are unable to upload .msg files which are saved as messages from outlook. Can someone please explain how I can create a question that asks someone to enter their managers email address whereby the user is presented with the normal (for other MS products) drop down/search list for AD users where they can pick the address? If that 'basic' question is answered positively, is there a way to automatically fill the field given I know who is filling in the form, and AD knows who their manager is. Surely the more automated the form, the better experience it is for the end user.4.2KViews0likes1CommentNot getting emails from Forms when created with Onedrive for Business?
Why am I not getting email notifications to say responses have been submitted? I created the form through onedrive for business and the email box is checked in the settings. The form also doesn't appear in the forms app! I have to reopen it from the original sharing link?! When I created a form directly through Forms, i was getting the emails, but I wasn't getting a live linked excel spreadsheet. I need both the email notifications of responses, and the live excel sheet! Whats going wrong?2.2KViews0likes4CommentsGenerating an email with Power Automate using data from MS Forms
I'm trying to generate an email based on responses to a Microsoft Form. To do that, we've been using Power Automate. But I don't know coding, so I'm struggling with the "if this, then do this or if this then do this." I'm trying to add content based on the response to a form question. This is what I have & Power Automate doesn't like it. If possible, I want the No response to result in a blank. if(equals(outputs('Get_response_details')?['body/r4dc7982d2d21447595928fe605d196a9'],'Yes','SNAP',' ') It also doesn't like this: if(equals(@{outputs('Get_response_details')?['body/rfa090ef4e8d14bf187d32d6ee29bce37']},Yes),'What is needed to complete the benefit request? @{outputs('Get_response_details')?['body/r6671aa148c974fbfb399bdf3c334f4a4']}',' ')1.7KViews0likes4CommentsSending email from Microsoft Forms
Hi, I have just started to look at and use Microsoft Forms. I would like to automate emails when a staff member fills in a form. Ideally to their manager (who is recorded in AD which in turn is synced to Azure AD via AD Connect). Is this in any way possible, e.g. using Flow etc.? Thank you, Ollie1.4KViews0likes1CommentQuestion Restrictions
I want to set up on my form a question asking for Email address. I want the restriction to register that username@domainname.com is the correct email format but it only offers Number, greater than, less than etc. I know other survey options such as Gizmo and Monkey offer this as default even in their free option but I cannot find it in Forms or Forms Pro. Is this functionality available?Solved1.4KViews0likes2Comments
