With the announcement that as of April 1st, partners can no longer sell net-new purchases of enterprise products, M365 E3/E5, Office 365 E3/E5 with Team included, will this also apply to a customer going through a merger where they are consolidating from two tenants into a new tenant? I have had a client ask if M365 Copilot will be specifically called out as covered by the BAA referenced in the https://www.microsoft.com/licensing/docs/view/Microsoft-Products-and-Services-Data-Protection-Addendum-DPA?lang=1. For reference this https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/compliance/regulatory/offering-hipaa-hitech referenced in the BAA, calls out the scope of covered services. I got triggered to ask my question due to this announcement: January 2024 announcements - Partner Center announcements | Microsoft Learn. So I got a hypothetical question regarding pricelists, price changes and deprecated SKUs. When we purchase a SKU now, which will being removed from the pricelist in the future (being deprecated), how can we verify new prices when price changes are applied? Example: - We purchase a M365 E3 (with Teams) SKU now. - This SKU is being removed from the price list from 1st of February as it's being deprecated. - And Microsoft applies a +5% price increase in September due to currency exchange rates (note; this is just hypothetical, no announcements were made to change the prices in September). - How can we verify the new purchase and ERP prices, if the SKU is not listed on the price list anymore? Of course we can calculate ourselves what a +5% price increase would look like, but how can we make sure what the real/specific prices would be? Hope anyone can give us some insights on it. Cheers, Martijn
