65 Topics[CHANNELS] Post Order - Use Top Down (Recent -Old)
Request Display post top-down using recent - old (cfr Outlook) Pin to the top (cfr Outlook) Context: Currently the ordering of the posts is bottom up, with the most recent post at the bottom. This is confusing and it deviates from other apps with similar functionalities (fb, twit,...). The use of the team channel to convey important information fails, as users are acustommed to find recent information on top. I do not understand why MS Teams has adopted another apporach than commonly used is similar applications. Why did you not adhere to your own methodologies: outlook is top-down. Pls use consistent approaches in your apps. Do check the MS-outlook on ordering and pinning post (emails). Thnx.35KViews3likes35CommentsWhat's new in Edge insider Canary Version 79.0.290.0

Anyone know of a way to display a single excel sheet on a Teams channel tab instead of an entire document, without hiding the sheets in the document itself? I suspect not, as the settings are all very simple and straightforward (and lacking, but it is what it is).Solved12KViews1like3CommentsMicrosoft Flow: @mention action not working for Teams reply
Hi, I'm currently working on a Flow which should be automatically called when a new mail arrives in a teams channel. This mail is from a facility information service an provides info regarding packages and guests. As there is no specific notification for this mail and so guest could be overseen, I want to add a mention notification to this mail in the channel. I tried with an automatic flow, with the trigger "when a new post is added to a channel" and then a condition with "if the sender from name is "SENDERNAME" is true" then call a "get mention token for a user" action and add this token to the "reply to message in teams" action. But as soon as I add the mention token action my flow ends in errors saying that I "should correct invalid inputs for the condition" and "correct invalid inputs for my reply to message" action. I have no clue why these errors exist, I have access to the team and channel, logged into a teams session in flow and so on. Can anyone help me in there? If infos are needed to solve this, just ask 😉 Thanks and Regards!6.7KViews0likes9CommentsChannel Notification Settings Resetting to "Off"
I would like to have members of a team get a notification when someone posts to the channel in that team - a pretty basic feature I would think. In the Channel Notification Settings window (accessed by clicking the 3 dots beside the channel name), the following window opens: I click the drop down menu for "All new posts" and select "Banner and feed", then click save. For some reason when I reopen this channel notifications window the selection for "All new posts" has reset to "Off". Ideally this should be something that could be toggled globally for all teams and channels; however, in the meantime I'd like to figure out why this existing feature is seemingly not working. Anyone else encounter this? Thanks in advance, ChrisSolved6.5KViews0likes9CommentsMicrosoft will be pushing out the new Edge via Windows Update to the majority of Windows 10 users
Microsoft will be pushing out the update, replacing the old Edge, to all Windows 10 users on Windows 10 RS4 (April 2018 Update) and newer. but there is a way Not to get it if you don't want to. To help our customers become more secure and up-to-date, Microsoft will distribute Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) through Automatic Updates for Windows 10 RS4 and newer. The Blocker Toolkit is intended for organizations that would like to block automatic delivery of Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) to machines in environments where Automatic Updates is enabled. The Blocker Toolkit will not expire. For computers running Windows 10 RS4 and newer, the Blocker Toolkit prevents the machine from receiving Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) via Automatic Updates. The Blocker Toolkit will not prevent users from manually installing Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) from internet download, or from external media. Organizations do not need to deploy the Blocker Toolkit in environments managed with an update management solution such as Windows Server Update Services or System Center Configuration Manager. Organizations can use those products to fully manage deployment of updates released through Windows Update and Microsoft Update, including Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based), within their environment. You can download the Blocker Toolkit executable file from https://msedgeblockertoolkit.blob.core.windows.net/blockertoolkit/MicrosoftEdgeChromiumBlockerToolkit.exe.
