We have access to all of these colors for the background color in Immersive Reader mode in Edge but no option to change Font color. Font color only changes from black to white when background is black. It would help me make the text better for reading by choosing a different font color than black when I'm using a background color that is not white. https://streamable.com/pr5os2.6KViews7likes7Comments[Feedback] Let us choose the current Bing daily picture as the static background for Edge
Let us choose the current Bing daily picture as the static background for Edge so that the next day it won't change. sometimes we like one of the Bing daily pictures a lot more than the others and we don't want it to change, at least not for few days, please give us that option so we can prevent it from changing for few days or a week etc. thanks Sent through browser feedback too, if you like this idea you do the same.762Views3likes0CommentsLet us disable background activity in each extension
Some extensions want to run in the background, usually VPN extensions do that, Edge generates this notifications when that happens but there is No way to control which extension runs in background and which extension doesn't. there is only this option in here: edge://settings/system and it blocks all extensions together. so I'm suggesting to have more granular control over this. I need to allow some extensions to keep running in the background even when Edge is closed and the rest don't have this permission. please add an option in each extension page in edge://extensions/ something like a checkbox, so that we can control which extension gets to run in background and which one doesn't. Thanks (sending this from feedback button on Edge too). thoughts?1.7KViews3likes2CommentsBITS Downloading App updates from unknown endpoint
Hi, Our IDS started freaking out today because a large number of our endpoints started initiating BITS downloads to an unknown endpoint. My initial reaction was ransomware, but after further investigation it appears that these BITS downloads are updates for Windows Store Apps. I am making this post to confirm that these endpoints are actually indeed official Microsoft endpoints. The BITS requests I had seen were all for the Limelight Networks CDN (llnwd[.]net), which I have heard hosts content for a lot of MSPs, one of which being Microsoft. Checking the logs, it appears that our workstations have never made BITS requests to this CDN. All previous BITS updates were carried out using official microsoft.com endpoints. The following are some examples of the domains seen in the BITS requests: ic-c39e4900-0f7065-msftstoretlu19.s.loris.llnwd[.]net ic-c39e4900-0d5ab5-msftstore19.s.loris.llnwd[.]net ic-c39e4900-08b3f9-msftstore19.s.loris.llnwd[.]net ic-c39e4900-0700f8-msftstore19.s.loris.llnwd[.]net Although all my investigations point to these being official Microsoft endpoints, I am worried that a CDN is being used because a malicious actor could easily mangle the URLs to make them look like official Microsoft ones. Is this the correct place to confirm that the above sub-domains are official Microsoft, and if not where should I ask this question instead? Thanks4KViews2likes4CommentsWhere are the Microsoft To Do theme backgrounds stored?
I was wondering where these backgrounds are stored, since a few of them are quite pretty and wanted to use them as my desktop wallpaper too. I was not able to stumble onto them through reverse image searches, thus I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Hi, Our company has created a couple of backgrounds for MS Teams, however for some people the backgrounds appear to be cropping and cutting out some of the background. The images are 1920 x 1080 pixels, so unsure why for some people it works while for others it crops. Is it a settings problem that some people might have on their computer? Because it seems like a simple upload procedure. Any help would be appreciated!12KViews1like5CommentsFloating Logo in Teams Background
I'd like to create a Teams background that has a floating logo. The closest I can come is to have created a PNG with the small logo in the corner of the screen. (Attached) But even though the logo is 1/12th of the screen, the balance of the screen still projects a white background that halos. I'm not interested in covering up anything behind me. I'm only interested in having my logo or even if it's just a few text words on the screen--kind of like a floating logo and nothing else. Is that possible to accomplish in 3D Paint or Powerpoint? Is there a certain type of file or magic fix that will eliminate everything in a file except for the logo or text? Thank you.42KViews1like4Comments
