First published on TECHNET on May 03, 2011 Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ) plays an important role in the Microsoft Lync Server 2010 Monitoring/Archiving server infrastructure: in a distributed network environment, MSMQ is used to transmit data from agents located on other servers (such as Front End Servers) to Monitoring/Archiving servers.18KViews0likes0CommentsThe LCSLog SQL Database is not logging any archiving content

Hi, A customer of ours have enabled archive on one of their mailboxes, but mails older than 2 years are not moved to the archive. I thought that the default MRM policy, which have "Default 2 years move to archive" would do this after archiving is set on the mailbox? Have I missed something? Thanks!Solved6.6KViews0likes2CommentsBest practices/methods for archiving terminated user OneDrive for Business data?
I understand using Litigation Hold and Retention Policy for archiving and holding terminated employee Exchange Online mailbox data, but is there a similar method for archiving and keeping their OneDrive data in a secure location that doesn't take up a full M365 license to hold it in case we have a requirement to bring it back for regulatory compliance purposes?4.6KViews1like1CommentNew Outlook client - view online archive of shared mailbox
Hi there, I have a user who has an Office 365 E3 license and is using the new Outlook client. He has access to a shared mailbox and it is appearing on the client. The shared mailbox has an in-place/online archive but it is not appearing on the client. The archive of the shared mailbox appears on the old Outlook client and on OWA. Is anyone else having the same issue? I checked and found the below: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/new-and-classic-outlook-for-windows-feature-comparison-de453583-1e76-48bf-975a-2e9cd2ee16dd It mentions that shared mailboxes are supported and online archives also, but no mention of the online archive of a shared mailbox. Does anyone have more info? e.g. an official technote from Microsoft on whether it is supported or not.Solved2.8KViews1like7CommentsLinks in channels in archived Teams
Hi gang, So, we are piloting Teams in our site, trying to figure out what the best practices are in creating channels, etc. and we have made a mess of things. Now we have an architecture that we think will work much better. BUT we want to archive the old teams. It is common practice for us to load a new file just by uploading it to the channel and allowing it to create a link. We are probably going to migrate the files to the new teams. However, I am thinking this will break the links that are in the archived channel communications (since they go to the old file location). Any suggestions to fix this? I don't know if it is completely necessary that they work, but it would be a nice to have. One idea I had would be to create links in the old file location to the new location, but replacing the files with links seems like it probably would not work.1.9KViews0likes2CommentsArchive Workflow - Scan PDF, Read Barcode, Create Folder and Store PDF
Relatively new with Teams (+Sharepoint) and we're trying to see if we can automate an existing paper-based document archiving workflow. Here's what we're trying to accomplish: Scan paper files on scanner (TBD, office MFP or otherwise - we'd ideally define a workflow that is scanner independent) First page of the scanned stack of papers has a barcode which represents an unique order number. Interpret the barcode (order number) and create a folder with that number in a Teams/Sharepoint Document Library Move the scanned PDF in its entirety to this folder. Does anyone have any idea if this is possible - and if so, perhaps shine some light on how to accomplish this? Thanks!Solved1.7KViews0likes1Comment
