Summary On February 29, 2024, Microsoft announced the public preview of Microsoft Copilot for Finance, the newest role-based extension of Microsoft Copilot. Copilot for Finance works seamlessly with the existing financial systems and data sources companies already rely on, bringing the right data to users in Excel and Outlook, to transform the way finance professionals complete everyday tasks. Microsoft Copilot for Finance Copilot for Finance surfaces insight while in the flow of work to support strategic decision-making and reduces the time spent on manual, repetitive work. By harnessing next-generation AI, Copilot automates time consuming tasks, like data consolidation, to empower finance professionals to focus on what truly matters – driving business performance. Copilot for Finance works alongside you, embedded in the Microsoft 365 apps you use daily to make financial processes more seamless and automated. At preview, we will support three scenarios: Streamline data reconciliation: Traditionally, accounts receivable (AR) managers spent hours manually pulling data from ERP records to reconcile in Excel. With Copilot for Finance, these critical steps are done with a simple prompt, empowering AR managers to act on inconsistencies found with suggested copy and relevant invoices attached. Accelerated collections: Collection coordinators spend ample time reviewing outstanding accounts and attempting to reconcile them in a timely matter. Copilot for Finance empowers the collections process by suggesting priority accounts, summarizing conversations to record back to ERP, and providing payment plans for customers. Summary On January 16, 2024 Microsoft announced the expansion of Copilot for Microsoft 365 availability to small and medium-sized businesses and how commercial customers can now purchase through Cloud Solution Provider Partners—making Copilot generally available to individuals, enterprises, and everyone in between. Building on this momentum, last week it was announced that on March 1, 2024 https://aka.ms/CopilotGAFeb2024 to customers purchasing through Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partners. Copilot for Sales and Copilot for Service bring together the power of Copilot for Microsoft 365 with role-specific insights and actions to streamline business processes, automate repetitive tasks, and unlock productivity. Both provide flexibility to integrate with existing contact center and CRM systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce and ServiceNow, to get more done with less effort. Customers can purchase Copilot for Sales or Copilot for Service for $50 per user per month as a standalone license that includes Copilot for Microsoft 365. Customers who already own Copilot for Microsoft 365 can step-up for $20 per user per month to purchase Copilot for Sales or Copilot for Service. These products will be a joint opportunity for Modern Work sellers and Business Applications sellers.
