Viva Goals being retired wasn't good news. It put many of us in the community in a pretty tough spot. There is less than a year to find a new OKR software and migrate. We really liked Viva Goals because our team could use it inside Microsoft Teams. Some of the alternatives we are considering switching to are: Teamflect WorkBoard Perdoo All three of these have great Microsoft Teams integration and solid OKR features. We are also considering other alternatives such as Profit Co and Lattice. Any opinions on or experience with these tools?2.5KViews4likes4CommentsViva Goals Retirement
Hi, Microsoft just announce at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/goals/goals-retirement that Viva Goals ending in December 2025. How do you feel about this announcement? It was one of the top business use cases with significant business value in Viva Suite after Viva Topics deprecation.2.4KViews9likes24CommentsInline images still not available for Discussions and Questions
I understand that "Articles" is a new premium feature for Viva Engage that allows inline images when creating an article. However, does anyone know why inline images are still not available in "Discussions" and "Questions" post options? This feature has been missing since day one for those post types. Although it became available last year with "Articles," it has yet to be integrated into the most frequently used post types in Engage, where it is desperately needed. What is the reasoning behind this?85Views0likes1CommentUsage Of Custom Email Domain for Viva Engage communications
Can you use a custom domain for all Viva Engage communications? Currently there's security concerns that emails from Viva Engage can not be allow listed since they use the same domain other tenants use. We have security concerns this maybe exploited by attackers looking to exploit the platform in malicious email attacks. What controls are there (if any) to send engagements from our custom accepted domain for the tenant so our cybersecurity teams don't have security concerns? Also can you provide documentation that keeps the platform from being exploited by a threat actors from targeting other Microsoft 365 tenants? What controls have been implemented to keep this from being active exploited? Or has this been considered? This has legitimate concerns from our cybersecurity teams. Defender 365 solutions are not an acceptable answer.62Views0likes2CommentsDisabling Viva Engage Email Notifications to specific accounts
We have just begun using Viva Engage in our organization, and we want to disable the email notifications to specific mailboxes (efax mailboxes, shared mailboxes, etc.). Is there a way to accomplish this? Can I use a 365 Group to do so? Any help is greatly appreciated!!! AdamSolved848Views0likes2CommentsHow to download/export usernames in Viva Engage?

Many thanks in advance! Thanks BanashreeSolved215Views1like2CommentsInvite guests to Viva Engage Community
I am looking into using Viva Engage but it is a deal breaker for us that guests with non-microsoft accounts cannot be added. It looks like the old Yammer used to allow external users to join? but the new Viva Engage does not? I have read articles about the new B2B guest framework https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/engage/work-with-external-users/collaborate-guests-external-viva-engage-community What I am trying to achieve though is allowing personal accounts, gmail, hotmail, etc Our use case is that we have a company community, but would like to invite a small number of guests into our community prior to them joining our team to give them a feel for how the business operates. I would be happy to assign purchase and assign licenses, but there is no easy way for non Office365 admins to do so. It would also cause friction to ask a new person that is not part of our business to use a new MS email account. Ideally this is how I would see it working Just allow guests to join with personal accounts. Community admins can just type in their email and invite them. We could have a pool of available Viva Engage licences. Community admins can invite a guest via their personal email address and assign an available licence.Solved447Views0likes1CommentMigration to Viva Engage
Hi Would anyone know if there are more options to upload data from our old company portal in bulk to Viva Engage other than the API? I just finished the export of the old portal and have a JSON file with all posts and links to pictures and documents. I scripted everything to download the documents and use the ID of the post as filenames so I can add them back. Drawback of using the API is that you can't post on behalf of someone else so all user related data is lost nor can you set the date on which the post is originally created. Any tips would be welcome. Thanks!1.5KViews0likes4CommentsProject For the Web Connector - PWA?
Hi, I'm trying to connect the tasks from my initiatives automatically using the Project For the Web Connector. Does anyone know if I can use the same connector to connect to my PWA (Project Web App) instance? At this time, some of our projects in my organization are managed via PWA. So I wonder if there is an environment permission in PWA to be allowed to I can select in the connector? I can see all my projects from Project Online just fine, just the ones hosted in PWA are missing. If there is another channel where I can ask this question or get support, please let me know.45Views0likes0Comments
