Since yesterday, all users in my environment are getting an email from mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons with the subject "Start selling better, faster, and more intelligently with Microsoft Sales Co-pilot". We only have a very small number of users who work with "sales" type activities. We have Microsoft communications to end users disabled in MAC and have switched off Microsoft Sales Co-pilot as much as we can via MAC. We setup an exchange rule to block the subject "Start selling better, faster, and more intelligently with Microsoft Sales Co-pilot" and it seems some are still getting through as Microsoft alternate the spelling of the word "co-pilot" to "copilot"! Is anyone else experiencing this? I raised a ticket with MS Support who could not help "Kindly understand that my support scope doesn't give me access to know why such promotional email are sent after settings are turned off." Why are the Sales Co-Pilot team delivering emails to my end users ignoring communication preferences in MAC?Copilot for Sales Adoption Tracking & Success KPIs
As my organization rolls out Copilot for Sales starting with a champions cohort first and then team by team across our sales organization, we're planning what and how to track our success. There are OOTB reports for M365 Copilot adoption and great reports for D365 Sales usage, but we're not seeing any unique reports for Copilot for Sales. Has anyone developed best practices or repeatable patterns that could be used for this? In addition to simple DAU and MAU, we're planning to track more general RevOps metrics like deal velocity, win rate, lead to opportunity conversion rate, and qualification speed.Allow editing option not working for picklists in Dynamics 365
The option to disable users from editing a picklist in Viva Sales (connected to Dynamics 365) is not working. I have tested it with different picklistgs and the result is the same. Users can edit the picklist field even though it is set to not allow. Is this a known bug?SolvedUpdate add-in error in Viva Sales for Microsoft Outlook
The purpose of this post is to inform you about a recent issue in the Viva Sales Outlook Side-Panel that customers might get exposed to. For additional information, review the following troubleshooting guide: Update add-in error in Viva Sales for Microsoft Outlook - Microsoft Support WHO IS AFFECTED? All Viva Sales users, including: Windows & Mac Users Outlook Web & Desktop Users User Installed & Admin Installed instances SYMPTOMS Viva Sales Outlook users will see an error indicating “An update to this add-in is available that requires your review and confirmation to install” when opening the Viva Sales Outlook Side-Panel, which ultimately blocks them from using Viva Sales (even though there are ways to get temporarily unblocked). Additionally, users can see an error message when scheduling a Teams Meeting, though we don’t have a consistent repro for this specific scenario. On the Outlook Web Client (OWA), when the user clicks the “Update” button it launches a new browser window and navigates to the “Viva Sales for Microsoft Outlook” screen on the “Add-Ins for Outlook” popup window. The user will still see the error message in the new browser window but see the Viva Sales Outlook Side-Panel in the original browser window. Upon refresh of the browser, the user will continue to see the original error message. On the Outlook Desktop Client, when the user clicks the “Update” button there is a subsequent error message indicating “The add-in is currently upgrading. Please chose the current message or appointment, and re-open in a few moments.”. Once the user closes the side-panel and re-opens it Viva Sales will temporarily work until the user closes/reopens the client, at which point the error re-occurs. ROOT CAUSE: This seems related to how the Outlook client handles certain type of version updates that include permission changes to the Viva Sales Outlook Add-In. We have since reverted the change back to minimize the customer impact of the issue. RESOLUTION & WORK AROUND: The issue will self-resolve for all tenants within the next 72 hours. In the interim, customers can mitigate the issue through the following means: For User Installed instances of Viva Sales, the user can simply un-install and re-install the add-in via the Outlook Add-In flow. For Admin Installed instances of Viva Sales, the admin has to un-install and re-install the add-in via the admin.microsoft.com portal. However, it will take 24 hours for the changes to take affect for all users.D365 Sales Copilot ...Copilot for Sales ...whatever :)
Hey friends and esteemed colleagues, Recently came across the January '24 CSP/NCE price list and noticed that Sales Copilot isn't there. Also noticed that I can't find it for manual purchase under M365 Admin in a tenant of mine. The SKU was definitely in the December '23 price list. Can you attempt to replicate on your end and let us know your findings? Wondering if something is up. Thank you in advance.Error Message
Hello I have a model driven app and and deployed viva sales. For licences I have Microsoft 365 Business Standards and Power Apps per User . Viva Sales Outlook Add-In prevents sending meeting invitations since the upgrade to outlook Outlook 16.74.1 on macOS 13.4 (22F66) (Apple M2 platform). After hitting the send-button the error message attached below appears. Also, the following info message appears shortly. Problem does not occur when sending emails. As a temporary workaround we have now removed the add-in via the admin portal and after approx. 20 hours all users were able to send meeting invitations again. Has anyone experienced the same issue or can provide any input?Viva Sales in now generally available!
