I am a heavy user of the account feature, as it is perfect when you are working from a lot of different Office 365 admin logins. In Edge Chromium for Windows 10 and MacOS there don’t seem to be a limit on the number of accounts, but on my iPhone and iPad I can create only one Microsoft account (primary) and one Work account. Is this going to change?Solved13KViews7likes12CommentsMultiple work accounts - no notification from the "not active" ones.
I tried to test the long awaited multiple accounts feature. I installed exactly the same accounts as are on my phone (Galaxy S22, Android). There I see a notification, when someone chats me on the "not active" account. On the new desktop app nothing happens. I am working in account A, have someone chat me on account B, and I don't get any notification, popup, badge, anything. I get it on the phone though. This is making the feature unusable actually. Anyone else experiencing this, or has a fix?Windows Server 2016: Settings -> Accounts crashes
On a Windows server 2016 we recently installed, whenever ANY user goes to Settings -> Accounts, it starts loading and crashes. The event log shows an error every time (see below). All users are local and the system is not in a domain. We have tried several things to resolve it, but the issue persists. Some things we have tried: creating a new user and testing it on there system file check (sfc /scannow) Windows trouble shooter (as well as the downloadable Windows update troubleshooter) reinstalling the Settings app (Get-AppXPackage | foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode - Register "$($_.InstallLocation) \AppXManifest.xml"}) Event viewer error log: Faulting application name: SystemSettings.exe, version: 10.0.14393.82, time stamp: 0x57a55dc6 Faulting module name: usercpl.dll, version: 10.0.14393.2608, time stamp: 0x5bd1347f Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x000000000000d297 Faulting process id: 0xb80 Faulting application start time: 0x01d5a36c63ad0ee2 Faulting application path: C:\Windows\ImmersiveControlPanel\SystemSettings.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\System32\usercpl.dll Report Id: dbe77bad-e235-499e-b0c2-13956fa9c637 Faulting package full name: windows.immersivecontrolpanel_6.2.0.0_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy Faulting package-relative application ID: microsoft.windows.immersivecontrolpanel6.7KViews2likes9CommentsPartner Mergers and other questions
Hi All, We are both an LSP and CSP Direct Partner. Our owning body is also a CSP Direct partner. We would like our owing business to be able to get credit for our sales to support solution partner designations but we would like to retain our own unique partner centre identity, billing, incentives etc. Looking through the PGA/PLA process, I think we need to trigger a Merge from the PGA account but also read that on the next action pack renewal date we then be treated as one company and everything will merger billing, incentives etc. I am also unclear what would happen our LSP status are merger, there is no mention of it's retention in the paper work. Is there any other way to achieve what we need without using the "Merging of accounts". Thank you.Futility of Expecting Multi-account Capability
This is directed to a knowledgeable MSFT rep: To-Do is the only Microsoft 365 app to my knowledge that cannot sync to multiple accounts, e.g., personal and work. We've been told that multiple account integration is on the roadmap, but clearly it's not or it's an impossibly low priority. Many less important capabilities have been added, and still no ability to sync with multiple accounts like, for example, Word, OneNote, Excel, etc. etc. At this point, is it fair to say that multiple account integration is not going to happen?850Views1like2CommentsMultiple Accounts in Streams
I have two separate accounts, one for work and one for school. I am unable to sign out of my school stream account so I can log into my work stream account. I never logged into the streams account with my school log in. I logged into my school and it automatically logged me into to stream. I am still able to log in and out of other Microsoft apps, however streams is not allowing me to log in with a different account. Has anyone experienced the same issues or has a solution?
