I am a heavy user of the account feature, as it is perfect when you are working from a lot of different Office 365 admin logins. In Edge Chromium for Windows 10 and MacOS there don’t seem to be a limit on the number of accounts, but on my iPhone and iPad I can create only one Microsoft account (primary) and one Work account. Is this going to change?Solved14KViews8likes13CommentsMultiple work accounts - no notification from the "not active" ones.
I tried to test the long awaited multiple accounts feature. I installed exactly the same accounts as are on my phone (Galaxy S22, Android). There I see a notification, when someone chats me on the "not active" account. On the new desktop app nothing happens. I am working in account A, have someone chat me on account B, and I don't get any notification, popup, badge, anything. I get it on the phone though. This is making the feature unusable actually. Anyone else experiencing this, or has a fix?Windows Server 2016: Settings -> Accounts crashes
On a Windows server 2016 we recently installed, whenever ANY user goes to Settings -> Accounts, it starts loading and crashes. The event log shows an error every time (see below). All users are local and the system is not in a domain. We have tried several things to resolve it, but the issue persists. Some things we have tried: creating a new user and testing it on there system file check (sfc /scannow) Windows trouble shooter (as well as the downloadable Windows update troubleshooter) reinstalling the Settings app (Get-AppXPackage | foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode - Register "$($_.InstallLocation) \AppXManifest.xml"}) Event viewer error log: Faulting application name: SystemSettings.exe, version: 10.0.14393.82, time stamp: 0x57a55dc6 Faulting module name: usercpl.dll, version: 10.0.14393.2608, time stamp: 0x5bd1347f Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x000000000000d297 Faulting process id: 0xb80 Faulting application start time: 0x01d5a36c63ad0ee2 Faulting application path: C:\Windows\ImmersiveControlPanel\SystemSettings.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\System32\usercpl.dll Report Id: dbe77bad-e235-499e-b0c2-13956fa9c637 Faulting package full name: windows.immersivecontrolpanel_6.2.0.0_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy Faulting package-relative application ID: microsoft.windows.immersivecontrolpanel6.8KViews2likes9CommentsClicking on MS Teams link asks for Microsoft account
Hi, In our company we have experienced multiple times a problem with MS teams links. Specifically, when user clicks on MS teams link, system should open meeting log in page where it prompts for an username, but instead it opens MS account log in page. These links usually are sent from outside (partners, clients etc) and not all users have MS teams accounts under our organization (im not sure how its properly called). When I myself create a meeting and send our people Teams link, never i have seen this problem. I have tried to understand it, but i fail and this is one of the things that drive me mad about all social distancing apps. This problem can occur on both web based and desktop based Teams clients. Sometimes it occurs only on one of them. No consistency here. Anyone has experiences with this?4.7KViews0likes1CommentWhen opening Teams desktop app there is a choice of two users with same email address / Work account
One of my users (Govt. account) is presented with herself twice with the exact same email (as a login choice) when opening Teams. It does not matter which of those users she chooses to enter Teams with, the result is the same. There appears to be some duplication there. I've checked AD - there is only one account. I've checked User accounts on her device - there is only one account I've deleted and reinstalled Teams - but on starting Teams there are still two accounts listed with the same email address. User has not created a personal account with her work email address. I am out of ideas about how to identify and or remove this second duplicated account. I don't know where to find it. Any ideas? Hi, i think i need help regarding the Azure automation acccounts update management. Our goal is to centraly update our on-prem Windows servers. To achive this i installed the monitoring agent on a few test machines. (The machines appeared inside the update management already) Now i want to create deployment schedules based on groups. (DCs, Fileserver, Database server, ...) In the "New update deployment" blade i'm able to select "Groups to update" or "Machines to update". When using "Groups to update" i need to have groups based on queries. When using "Machiines to update" i've seen that i can choose "imported groups (AD/WSUS/SCCM)" from the dropdown. I enabled the Groupsync option in my log analytics workspace already (advanced settings > computer groups > Active Directory > Import ..). When looking back at the "Machines to update" blade i can only see 3 groups, but not the groups i would like to use. (There are two custom groups visible and the "domain computers" group) The on-prem groups i would like to use are normal global security groups and the're synced via AADC. So at this moment i really don't know why my prefered groups are not visible. Any help is highly appreciated. 🙂3.7KViews0likes3Comments
