There needs to be a way to view available digital licenses inside our Microsoft account, I think in Windows settings => update and security => Activation would be the most suitable place. it has benefits, the most important one is so user can see their available licenses in their Microsoft account and make a wise decision based on that info. please upvote this feedback in feedback hub: https://aka.ms/AAbdhft49KViews4likes2Commentsoptional suggestion: new menu bar app for mac
i wish i could launch one of my edge profile (no matter from which edge) directly in the menu bar. so you create a profile launcher.app and then i can search a profile installed on my 4 browser, without need to launch a browser. at the moment we can do similar things once the browser is launched using the dock icon or using the sync icon or using the menu bar option inside edge. but there is still the limit that we can do it for one browser. we cannot search profiles installed on all 4 browser. plus every time you launch the browser, you open the last used profile. so we first need to close and then switch (which requires time). profile switching is slower in edge compared to google. now with this new app you would simply launch a profile inside an edge app, without launching the previous profile.4.4KViews2likes10CommentsA major step backwards: Classic Outlook vs. New Outlook on changing the "From" sending account
The Issue: In New Outlook, changing the "From" address after you have already started composing an email message opens a new, blank message window, forcing you to copy and paste your original message subject, contents, and attachments. This is an irritating change from Classic Outlook, where you could simply switch the sending account from a dropdown menu while keeping your drafted message fully intact. Expected behavior: When changing the "From" address while composing a mail message, it should simply be updated to the newly selected account, and the body, subject line, and any attachments of the message you are writing at that time should be preserved within the same composition window. The Classic Outlook Way (The Right Way) to Switch the "From" address: For years, my workflow in Classic Outlook has been simple. I click "New Email." The new message window opens, and the "From" field shows the currently selected account. I start writing my message. Then I realize I wanted to send it from another mail account. I click the "From" button, and a dropdown menu appears with all my accounts. I pick the one I want, and I'm good to go. The message content is untouched, it's all still there. Changing the From-address is a two-second action that is intuitive and efficient. The "New Outlook" Way (The Baffling Way) to Switch the "From" address: Now, I try to do the exact same thing in the "New Outlook." I click "New Email." The new message window opens, and the "From" field shows the currently selected account. I start writing my message. Then I realize I wanted to send it from another mail account. I click the "From" button, and a dropdown menu appears with all my accounts. I pick the one I want. But then, after choosing a different From-address, a completely blank new message is opened. And I have to copy/paste everything from the message window I was writing in before to the newly opened message window. So annoying! This feels like a classic case of simplifying the UI to the point where it loses critical functionality. What used to be a simple dropdown selection in Classic Outlook is now an irritating multi-step process in New Outlook. It seems to be an intentional design choice, but it's one that ignores the reality of how users with multiple mail accounts actually work.57Views1like1CommentAssistance Required for Account Recovery
Hello, I am having trouble accessing my account: r.**@*.*). When I attempt to log in, I receive the message: "Something went wrong" (without any error code). Upon trying to reset my password, I discovered that a different email (er*****@talktaik.online) is linked to the account, which raises concerns that my account may have been compromised. Despite entering all the required information for recovery, I am informed that it’s insufficient. Could you please assist in resetting the password or provide a way to send the recovery link to the correct email: r.**@*.*? Any alternative solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support. Best regards,779Views1like1CommentCan't fix problem with Windows Insider Program account
Hi everyone. For several days now I keep getting an error when I attempt to fix a problem with my Windows Insider account. The screen shows below information (same as attached screenshot): Your Windows Insider account requires attention to get Insider Preview builds. As soon as I hit "Fix the problem" I get a message for a split of second saying "Loading. This won't take long." and it changes to "Something went wrong. We aren't able to talk to our service right now. Please try again later." I am registered for the Insider Program and have tried several solutions that I've found on the Internet (registry keys change/add keys, start Windows Services, created new Windows profile with admin rights) - no luck. Anyone has an idea how to fix this? Thanks in advance for any replies.8.8KViews1like12CommentsPay for Enterprise Mobility + Security with our Microsoft account balance
