Using Microsoft Teams in work meetings I have noticed a very loud white noise that only appears when no one is talking. I know it is not about microphones, because I have been in meetings where everyone were muted and were waiting for the meeting to start and the white noise just kept on buzzing. The white noise starts as gentle but gets louder and louder if no one is talking until it reaches its peak as a very loud buzzing. I have tried to search for answers but only one I found was about "Teams certified microphone" which I do not possess, but Teams is the only voice communication service to cause this noise so I'm not convinced it's a microphone issue. Help & solution greatly appreciated. - Jonas63KViews3likes16Comments(Voice) How long for SMS 10DLC? (30 days!?)
Hello, I submitted my 10DLC request in the first week of April, and it has gone unattended for almost 30 days now. There is no way to submit a service request for a status update. I tried creating a ticket using the PNSC but they will not help me no matter which case type I choose:115Views1like3CommentsHow to set voicemails to go to a Call Queue Team Channel
I'm setting up a new call queue and AA for our front desk and I see in the Channel I have setup for calls to get routed to a voicemail tab but there appears to be no way to actually send calls here either in the AA or call queue in the Teams admin page. And as usual there is 0 how to from MS on this just heres all the settings just figure it out, without going into all the gotcha's built into the system. Yes I know I can send this to a personal or group email box that is not what I'm trying to do.178Views0likes0CommentsAdding a comfort message to a call queue
Hi All, I have a client who has a need for a comfort message when callers wait in the queue for a specified time. For example, the call enters the queue and waits for 20 seconds, then hears a message stating 'All our agents are busy helping other customers at the moment, please continue to hold', and then the call continues to ring until answered. I'm not sure this can be done on Teams Phone, however I just want to double check before advising the client. Thanks! MitchellSolved2.5KViews0likes5CommentsMP50 / MP54 Yealink Lag
Anyone else have any experience with Yealink ‘lag’ for users answering the phone? Our users upon answering the phone using either a USB MP50 soft phone or even a CAP MP54 seem to have an issue with a 3-5 second lag? Weve been looking into anything FW related but seems to be circulating around Yealinks being a problem? we’re also seeing a few issues with phones continually calling out or just randomly dropping? it’s a new migration we’ve undertaken in the last week and so far we seem to have got a lot in place and it’s working fairly well but the answering lag coupled with these random abandoned calls feels like something more than a teething issue. I’ve read a few similar things on here but would appreciate anyone’s thoughts on this for things we could try? I saw this lightweight calling experience too, what the heck does this actually do?! And is this part of the problem. much appreciated all cheers1.6KViews0likes1CommentVoicemail not showing up on Microsoft Teams

I have written a new PowerShell script and published it on GitHub. The aim is to simplify and speed up the assignment of mass phone numbers. For this, it also needs a corresponding CSV. This CSV file can be generated with another small script (also available in the corresponding repository). Feel free to use it. https://github.com/MSB365/Teams-Phone-Number-Assignment1KViews0likes1CommentTeams dial pad missing due to RegistarPool Attribute
Not a question but thought this should share in the community with my blog post and recent finding. Most common issues after moving/migrating users to Teams from SfB were few, Teams license assigned or assigned license change not replicate on time or delay. License was Phone System since this was Direct Routing work. is enable for Enterprise voice. Whether the user assigned a Voice Routing Policy. Whether the user assigned a Teams Calling Policy. Registar Pool missing/ empty. I found this new experience and read full article - Teams dial pad missing due to Registar Pool Attribute I got help from my old friend (MS Premier support) to do the replication in Backend @Muninder PS Thanks Reach out to me on Madushka Dias (@madushka) / Twitter or https://www.linkedin.com/in/madushkadias/.2.1KViews1like1CommentPowerShell Script – Setting Calling Policies for multiple users
[New Blog Post] My latest post is about assigning Teams Voice Policies to multiple users when using a CSV file. The script is available on GitHub and the documentation is my article. I also provide another small PowerShell script in my article on how to create the desired CSV in a few seconds. https://www.msb365.blog/?p=49801KViews0likes1CommentSip Gateway registration
I have a Cisco 7841 with MPP firmware that I am trying to sign into. I have followed the docs and managed to sign into the Sip gateway, the phone appears in the Admin portal for our tenancy. The phone displays a sign in page, I press sign in, and I get a code to use when I sign in via a browser. I go to browser and put in code, it then asks me for my username and password, which all goes through okay. but the phone just stays on the sign in screen, nothing happens. It has been a week. I have reset phone. I got to device page on the admin portal and it shows below.1.1KViews0likes1Comment
