Hi! I hope someone can help me, since I've been dealing with this issue for 2 weeks now and not even Global Support at Microsoft as an FTE could help me. I'm using a MacBook Pro M1 (2021), MacOS Ventura 13.4.1 and downloading/uploading multiple image, video and audio files between co-workers by also using Adobe Suite. Suddenly, it stopped syncing properly and the OneDrive icon just shows "Preparing to upload" or "Processing Changes" for eternity, even if I connect to Ethernet (I also don't have any invalid symbols on my file names). Nothing has updated since July 11 for my coworkers, and the alternative of using the OneDrive Web is something I already do, but it's not practical at all since I need to download and upload my Adobe projects AND assets each time, making it more frustrating. It should be an easy experience along Finder and MacOS. I've tried reinstalling several times, even using the script inside the Contents folder of the app, and in the end it syncs with the user OneDrive, but not the Team one. This is not just a minor issue, this is costing the company weeks of work and money because we're not able to work async as a Global Team. And it's just on my Mac, since I have a Surface and everything works well there (but the machine is not powerful enough to handle the work). Please, help me. I'm very frustrated! It just feels MacOS support for OneDrive has been dropped, it feels like a alpha/beta version of the app. PD: I'm updating to MacOS 15.0 today, that an update was released, so hopefully that will help? This article will focus on showing you how to manually move your videos from the Microsoft Stream (Classic) channels to OneDrive for Business, SharePoint, and/or Microsoft Teams today. As previously announced in October new Team Meeting Recordings will store OneDrive or SharePoint and customers can opt-out by running a this PowerShell Script. Starting July 2021 for all Microsoft 365 customers, all Teams Meetings recordings will now be automatically stored in OneDrive for Business or SharePoint. That will mean no new Teams Meeting recordings can be saved in Microsoft Stream (Classic). Having new Team Meetings recordings in ODSP has the benefits of allowing customers to utilize the various content management capabilities like setting sensitivity / retention polices on videos, making the permissions and sharing more consistent with the Microsoft suite, increased upload quotas for videos, making meeting recordings available faster, and enabling more benefits from the OneDrive for Business and SharePoint information governance that Microsoft Stream (Classic) does not currently offer. The Microsoft Stream product team understands that many customers have a good amount of content in Classic Stream. They are actively developing a migration process to help you in this video journey. Please follow the Stream roadmap at https://aka.ms/streamroadmapupdates for more features coming out for Microsoft Stream. Meanwhile this article describes the process of manually moving videos from Classic Stream to ODSP. Download Video from Stream To access Microsoft Stream, you can navigate to web.microsoftstream.com or in the Microsoft App Launcher click on the Stream Icon. Navigate to the video you would like to move to a new location by clicking on My Content. If the video was a meeting recording, click Meetings. Click the Edit Icon to navigate to the Video Settings. While in the Video setting, click the "Download Video" button to start the download process. Once the video is downloaded to your computer, then you can start working on uploading the file to OneDrive for Business / SharePoint / Microsoft Teams. Microsoft References to upload videos. After recording a meeting through Teams this morning I am unable to playback my meeting. I have tried playing in both the Teams window and in Stream and am getting errors. In teams the error is "This video is not ready, please try again". No error code is showing and no grey button option to report error. In Stream the error is "Something is wrong with this video". Again no error code or grey buttion option to report error. Only my client session ID. Has anyone else expereinced this?Forcing the addition of required metadata in file upload to Teams
Hi all, So, when we upload files to SharePoint, we have mandatory metadata fields that we must fill in, for multiple reasons. Right now uploading to Teams just... uploads. Is there a way to force the user to input metadata fields when uploading to Teams? I know we cannot see additional metadata fields in Teams, but that is sort of okay with us, as long as the files GET the metadata fields we need. Thoughts?Solved8.8KViews0likes9CommentsAssignments - There was a problem when attaching this file. Please remove and try again
We've seen this error occur repeatedly for 3 students over the past few weeks since Christmas. It's occuring on the windows app and via Chrome, both are running the latest version. It's at the point of submitting an assignment. We've tried creating a brand new word document with only one sentence in it, thinking it was the file with the issue. The issue appears to follow the student, no matter what device they use to upload the assignment. Any thoughts? Thanks, Phil7.2KViews0likes1Commentproblem with saving/uploading files in ms teams

I've been asked to upload a load of files to a sharepoint site in our comapny. I've tried a couple of times now, and the process starts OK, but seems to hit a timeout error or something and the webpage crashes. There doesn't seem to be any of the usual functionality for a service like this - there appears to be no way of quickly determining what has and what hasn't copied across - the (simple) file structure seems to have be replicated, but many folders are empty and don't contain the files that were i the original data. ALso, there doesn't seem to be any means of "resuming" the process. I just have to start all over again. These seem like 2 of the most basic functionalities you would expect this feature to have. Is there any sort of solution or workaround? Thanks for any help.5.5KViews0likes5CommentsVideo playback not working for screen recordings published directly in browser
Hello, Video playback is not working when publishing a screen recording directly in the browser. The video just has a spinning circle on it after being published. If the video is downloaded during review, then uploaded, it works. It appears to be an issue with screen recordings more than a minute long. This is an issue for multiple users, and we've tried both Chrome and Edge browsers. Thanks, CharlesSolvedClassic document library upload problem with required field and check-in/out not enabled
Document library check-in/out is being enforced by default even though it is not selected on the library. In uploading a document to a document library opened in classic mode that has a required field and check-in/out is not enabled, the document gets uploaded and I am offered the properties to fill out that but I get stuck in this endless loop where I can't update the required field because system wants me to check-in but it won't check-in so the document stays checked out. My upload speed is not that high and when I add multiple big pictures along with video recording using "recreate my problem" feature in Edge feedback tool, all the data add up and make a big chunk to be uploaded. I Need to know when Edge finishes uploading data so I can keep Edge window open to do its job and don't interrupt it by closing it, shutting down my PC, putting PC to sleep etc etc. Deleted2.8KViews3likes9Comments
