This Microsoft Teams Tutorial will demonstrate how to use the Microsoft Teams Milestones sample app. The Milestones app is a lightweight project tracking tool that provides a simple visual interface that illustrates the progress to completing project work. A sample app is one built on the Power Platform to demonstrate the extensibility of Teams when using Powerapps and Power Automate to augment it with custom solutions. Note that this app is not a full fledged project management app and more importantly it doesn't integrate with Tasks By Planner and To Do out of the box. You could build flows in Power Automate to create that integration however. https://youtu.be/uPUJTuYGiQw What are your thoughts about this app?95KViews0likes27CommentsSay Goodbye to "Can You Hear Me?" with Teams New Mic Volume Indicator

I have a holiday schedule applied to an auto attendant. That schedule contains all of our annual holidays. In the auto attendant holiday call flow routing options, I have it play an audio file and I specify menu options to redirect to voicemail or to search by name. What I want to do is just change the audio file that's played for the greeting to be appropriate for the holiday (we'll be closed for Christmas, New Year, etc.). But when I delete the current audio file and upload a new one, the Save option is greyed out. I thought perhaps it was just auto-saved, so go out to the list of auto attendants, then back into that attendant and check to see what audio file is listed. It's the one I just uploaded. Ok, cool. I refresh the browser tab and check again. Now it's the previous greeting. The only way I have found to save that new audio file, is to make some other change to the call flow (change Directory search option) which makes the Save button available. I save it and it takes me out of the holiday call flow setting, so I go back in (my new greeting is now saved) and change the Directory search option back to what it was previously and save again. There's got to be an easier way, right?17Views0likes0CommentsMS Teams Mission Control Center
We provide meeting/webinar support for a major client using MS Teams. Highlighting participants via "Spotlight" in large meetings is quite cumbersome, especially during Q&A sessions, and it's relatively time-consuming and causes awkward pauses. Isn't there a way to improve this? Perhaps an external control page? Furthermore, it would be very helpful to be able to switch seamlessly to different cameras and videos without having to go through OBS or Vmix, or connect a hardware video mixer. Are there any solutions on the market that don't require multiple people to manage a meeting with high demands? If not, we will need to develop this ourselves 😉.88Views0likes1CommentRequire approval from IT to join a Team and/or Shared Channels
My company has two sides to its business. Both sides are under the same Microsoft 365 tenant. They can be called Group A and Group B. Group A should not be able to add those from Group B into teams and channels on their own. Likewise, Group B should not be able to add those from Group A. If either side wants to add the other to a team or channels, they should have to get approval from IT, with IT making the additions to the team or channel. We would rather not have this just done over emails. This has to be done while still allowing members of Group A and members of Group B the ability to have 1 on 1 and group chats. Does anyone have any suggestion how to do this?75Views0likes1CommentBest survey tool for Microsoft Teams?
Because Forms isn't cutting it anymore! What would you recommend as the best employee survey tool to use inside Microsoft Teams. We definitely need a survey solution that functions inside Teams because the second our team has to open another app, survey completion rates drop fast. Forms was a simple rudimentary solution but now I think we need a more sophisticated tool with better anlytics. Any thoughts?Solved181Views0likes2CommentsHow do you handle rewards & recognition in MS Teams?
I'm curious to learn how other organizations are managing rewards and recognition programs within Microsoft Teams. Are you using built-in features like praise badges and announcements, third-party apps from the Teams store, or custom solutions integrated through Power Platform?Solved147Views0likes2CommentsMore control with Teams chat notifications (Duration, marking as Read)
Currently in Teams it shows you if you have unread chats in your taskbar notification icon (small red bell). But to mark that notification as read you have to open up Teams and then highlight the conversation to mark it as 'Read'. Does anyone know if there is a way, or given thought to building a way, to have more control over the notification pop-up that would allow you to control how long the notification displays when a new chat is received and to also add a button that would allow you to mark the chat as read rather than opening the entire Teams application? I'm not seeing this ability in either the "Teams built-in" or "Windows" notification styles.' Thank you for your consideration! Chris3.3KViews4likes3Comments
