What tool can I use in MS Teams to gather feedback with open-ended questions?
We've tried our shot with polls and forms, but there have to be better methods (or better use-cases for both tools than how we've been using them). Any recommendations?

Okay, surveys are literally my favorite engagement tool, and they need to be treated with more respect. There are lots of "engineering" solutions to surveys where you can get forms or polls, or loop components to technically gather data for you. That's not what it's about.
You need to find a real, sophisticated survey solution that works for you, with multiple different question types and templates, and detailed analysis.
The tool we've been using for this is Teamflect and we are pretty happy with it. Comes with all sorts of question types, anonymity toggles, and extensive survey reports that actually help us make decisions. It also fits neatly into Teams so I would recommend it. - MarkusRedlofCopper Contributor
You can use Mentimeter, Slido, or any other web-based tool via Anytom.live. Anytom.live is a plugin from the Microsoft Teams AppSource. Simply search for it in the "Apps" section.

You can use a team channel (tag everyone or channel name) with replies, at mention forms, there’s a ton of third party tools (many are free or freeium) and I used to use Polly a lot. Hope this helps!
Don’t discount forms. There’s also a Team your company can create that includes all accounts company wide (depending on your size of organization)
