Hi All I'm currently running the Teams app 1.3.00.13565 (64 bit) running on Windows build 19042.388 (Version 20H2) and when I am on a call and share a screen (tested with entire screen or specific app) the teams app completely crashes. I've checked in the event log and am consistently seeing the following entry when the crash happens: ==== Windows cannot access the file for one of the following reasons: there is a problem with the network connection, the disk that the file is stored on, or the storage drivers installed on this computer; or the disk is missing. Windows closed the program Microsoft Teams because of this error. Program: Microsoft Teams File: The error value is listed in the Additional Data section. User Action 1. Open the file again. This situation might be a temporary problem that corrects itself when the program runs again. 2. If the file still cannot be accessed and - It is on the network, your network administrator should verify that there is not a problem with the network and that the server can be contacted. - It is on a removable disk, for example, a floppy disk or CD-ROM, verify that the disk is fully inserted into the computer. 3. Check and repair the file system by running CHKDSK. To run CHKDSK, click Start, click Run, type CMD, and then click OK. At the command prompt, type CHKDSK /F, and then press ENTER. 4. If the problem persists, restore the file from a backup copy. 5. Determine whether other files on the same disk can be opened. If not, the disk might be damaged. If it is a hard disk, contact your administrator or computer hardware vendor for further assistance. Additional Data Error value: 00000000 Disk type: 0 ==== There is actually 2 Application errors, and a Windows Error Reporting entry that come in unison. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated, as this is stopping me from being able to fully work at the moment Thanks in advance MarkSolved123KViews2likes28CommentsTeams headset test okay not working in call
Hi, I have problems with using my headset in Teams. When I select the appropiate device and start a test conversation, both speaker and microphone work fine. However if I start a real conversation, I cannot hear the other nor can the other hear me. The problem persists after restarting Teams and even after a full system restart. Any suggestions? I've built an application for the Microsoft Teams app and published it in my organization using the Developer portal. I want to access the bot inside a team's shared channel but cannot do so. I've also provided "sharedChannels" inside the supportedChannelTypes property in the manifest but still, it isn't working. The manifest of my application looks somewhat like this: { "$schema": "https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/json-schemas/teams/v1.15/MicrosoftTeams.schema.json", "version": "1.0.1", "manifestVersion": "1.15", "id": "10d58ca5-e2fd-4bb0-b488-ec31a1e071e5", "packageName": "Bot", "name": { "short": "Bot", "full": "Application" }, "developer": { "name": "Organization", "websiteUrl": "https://example.com/", "privacyUrl": "https://example.com/privacy", "termsOfUseUrl": "https://example.com/termsofuse" }, "description": { "short": "Test application", "full": "Test application." }, "icons": { "outline": "outline.png", "color": "color.png" }, "accentColor": "#60A18E", "configurableTabs": [ { "configurationUrl": "https://test.com/configure", "canUpdateConfiguration": true, "scopes": [ "team" ] } ], "bots": [ { "botId": "bot-id", "scopes": [ "groupchat", "team", "groupChat" ], "commandLists": [ { "commands": [ { "title": "register", "description": "register" } ], "scopes": [ "team" ] } ], "isNotificationOnly": false, "supportsCalling": false, "supportsVideo": false, "supportsFiles": false } ], "validDomains": [ "test.com" ], "defaultGroupCapability": { "team": "bot", "groupchat": "bot", "meetings": "bot" }, "authorization": { "permissions": { "orgWide": [], "resourceSpecific": [] } }, "supportedChannelTypes": [ "sharedChannels", "privateChannels" ] }Solved2.6KViews0likes6CommentsMissing or Delayed notifications
I'm posting a new thread to draw some attention to this. I've seen nearly a dozen times in our organization a Chat or @ mention not reach the destination user on the desktop app. No message in the thread, and no notification to go with it. We have found that the message does show up on the portal, and if we quit the app and relaunch, the user then gets all updates. Some other community members are reporting the same issue recently: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Teams/Why-are-some-people-consistently-not-getting-messages-in-Teams/m-p/862009/highlight/false Is this a known issue that is being worked on? I cannot move us off of Skype until I know users will consistently receive messages.Solved51KViews1like17CommentsAbout auto-status update in Teams or show specific icon

Hey community, Some of the users in our organization have complaints receiving new messages on MS Teams. They receive an email notification but the message appears on Team later. I tried to remove the files from (%appdata%\Microsoft\teams) as stated in the below link. Not sure if the problem is solved but I don't see anyone's picture on Teams after deleting all the files. Thanks in advance.Solved61KViews0likes4CommentsTeams Windows Desktop Clients are reverting to earlier versions
Teams Windows Desktop Clients are reverting to earlier versions (example: 1.3.00.19173) and then the user is notified "Looks like you're on an older version of Teams. Update in ## days to continue using the App. Download." Updating is performed by clicking on the Download button. But then the version that is loaded is still older than what we have seen recently (1.3.00.28779) and not near any of the recent versions. Note: forcing the update does not work in this instance and cleaning the Teams cache doesn't assist either.9KViews1like3Comments
