Sorting

As stated in at least one other post on this forum which was originally posted in 2017(!!!!!) it is still not fixed by Microsoft! If you have a Teams instance you get an office365 connected group, Sharepoint site and a document library, etc. Within our large organization it is a real nuisance that although files are sorted alphabetically in the connected SharePoint library Teams just keeps on sorting the docs on the last modified date. This just doesn’t makes sense! In some use cases people benefit from the sorting on last modified date but this is a contextual thing. Let’s say I am working on a document and after that I want to sent a mail and attach a document to that mail you can easily make the assumption that I want to be able to quickly share the file I just worked on... Fine... But when accessing an (extensive) document library this isn’t the case. People are just looking for a certain document and at that moment the default last modified sorting option makes that navigation quite a nuisance!! A team should be capable of sorting their document library in any way they find most helpful! Please fix this! I just can’t understand why this minor adjustment isn’t fixed already since it has beenmode three years when it was reported here...10KViews0likes3CommentsGroups - message sorting options in Outlook
Hello all, Has anyone received any complaints from their users about the lack of sorting options in Outlook Groups? My users would like to be able to sort their conversations by subject or sender, and finds it unpractical to use if those types of features are not available. Is this by design? Anything in the works to add more functionality? The only options are a search bar, or the "Find Messages from sender" option when right clicking on a message in the mailbox. Interested to hear what you all think. Thanks! Nick3.5KViews4likes3CommentsSorting data - by reference

Hi, I just noticed this bug when sorting the members of a Team : The Role Column doesn't follow when sorting other columns (and the Role Column sorting doesn't work anyway), which can lead to mistakes when manipulating roles. It also can be dangerous when adding a new member and then set it as an owner, because you can assign the role to the wrong member.Solved2KViews1like4CommentsMultiple files in different column order

Hi everyone, I have a problem that I hope you can help me solve it, I have an account with an external supplier with exchange 2010 where my company connects only with POP3 (unfortunately) to read mail and sort it through Outlook rules. This account has a space limit and also we talk about a flow of thousands of mails per day so we are forced to download , delete it from the server and through numerous rules on Outlook (more than 70) sort them accordingly. The problem is that the PST quickly reaches 100Gbytes and becomes unmanageable. I thought of using an Exchange server of our property as a connector to download the mail but then it will still be sorted and archived regularly. Do you have any solution in mind? thank you so much!1.3KViews0likes3CommentsSPECIAL NUMBER SORTING
I am trying to sort a spreadsheet with special numbers. it puts 129.01.00A ahead of 13.01.00, 71.01.00 etc. I want it to sort by the number ahead of the first decimal, then by the second, etc. e.g. 13.01.00 then 71.01.00 then 129.01.00A I have tried formatting by number, by general, by accounting. Any help appreciated.1.1KViews0likes1Comment
