Add content type file to every new document library created in a site
I created a new template via content type that I want to be available in every document library (existing and new). For existing document libraries on the site and subsites, I can manually add the template but there are 300 subsites with 4 folders each. I'm looking for a faster way to do this. Also, I want the template added to every new folder that is created on the main site or subsites. What is the solution?
SharePoint view filtered to Me
Hello! Is it possible to create a view, or JSON format a view, when a field contains my information that is not a people picker field? I have a multiple line of text field where I enter a JSON object with user emails. Is there a way to change the view to only show the line item if that text field contains my email? I have tried using that field with Contains [Me] but that does not work. Presumably as [Me] is for people picker fields. Is there a way to add a filter to the view to look for my email?
Sites webpart not showing all sites in the hub
Hi there A few days ago I created a parent hub, and associated some sites. Then I made those sites a second level hub, and associated sites to the second level. In the second level hub sites, I created a sites web part to show all sites in the hub. But it only chooses one, or maybe 3 to 4 but not all of the sites. I have the permission to add sites to the hubs. I put in a call to Microsoft, heard back after 2 days which they said they would go away and find an answer and I've not heard back. Is there a particular method to doing this. Eg. Should I go back to the Admin Centre, disassociated sites, unregister hubs then redo it all in a particular order? (not preferred option) or is there another way I can get the sites web part to render sites. Thanks in advance.
Linking documents/pictures to other sites?
What is the correct way to use documents and images stored in a Home Site library on other SharePoint sites? I need to embed images and create hyperlinks to documents on pages in other sites. I have been using the “Copy link” button, which creates a sharing link with individual user permissions. The problem is that if I move the picture to another folder within the same library, the image sometimes disappears from the page. Occasionally the share link still works after moving the file, but not always. What is the recommended way to do this, and is it fully supported?
Organization Asset Libraries not filtering in PowerPoint Brand Images
Hi, I have set up three Organization Asset Libraries on the same SharePoint site using the `Set-SPOOrgAssetsLibrary` PowerShell cmdlet. All three are image libraries, each intended for a different language version of our company assets. When I go to PowerPoint → Insert → Pictures → Brand Images, I can see a dropdown that allows me to switch between the libraries. However, regardless of which library I select, all images from all three libraries are displayed at the same time. My questions: 1. Is this expected behavior (by design), or is it a bug? 2. If by design — what is the actual purpose of the library switcher dropdown if it doesn't filter the content? Any insight or official documentation reference would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Is it possible to add a Power Automate button to Form view
Hello! Is it possible to add a Power Automate button from the list view in a SharePoint list to the Form view? I was hoping that when a line item is open to view, we may be able to add this button onto the Form view as well somehow? Even just as a hyperlink and not a button? I have been working hard on a site in SharePoint, using Microsoft 365 for Business, which is currently in draft mode, and to my frustration, I can no longer access it. After months of dedication and effort, I feel completely powerless in this situation. When I try to click on the site link, I am redirected to a different page, and to make matters worse, an irrelevant file starts downloading automatically. This is extremely frustrating for me, as the site was almost ready to be launched, and now it feels like all my work is at stake. Here are the details of the situation: - Site Link: Accessing the link I used previously simply doesn’t work anymore. - Redirection: When I click, I’m taken to a completely different page. - Automatic Download: A file unrelated to the site is being downloaded to my computer. - Site Status: Everything was finalized and ready for publication, but now I feel out of options. We’re using the Quick Links web part in Button layout on a modern SharePoint Online page. Normally, the label “drawer” only appears when you hover over the button. Recently, the drawers under all buttons are stuck permanently open (see red lines below marking the title drawers that I want to disappear). We must use the Button layout for our design standards, so switching to another layout is not an option Our IT team says there’s no HTML/CSS toggle to control this, and publishing an older page version would undo recent changes without guaranteeing a fix Rebuilding the web part isn’t realistic since we don’t have all the original links and images. This has happened before, but usually it “clears up” after some time — this time it’s persistent. Has anyone else run into this? Is this a known regression with Button layout, and is there a fix? Any guidance would be appreciated.
