Licensing Requirements for SharePoint Advanced Management
Please confirm Licensing Requirements for SharePoint Advanced Management? I ask because I believe there is a scenario where if I have one user account in my M365 Tenant (say this one user account was treated like a service/admin account) and this same user account was subscribed to the Monthly Copilot subscription; it could also therefore subscribe to the SharePoint Advanced Management subscription too? Afterwards, then this user account could do the SharePoint Advanced Management tasks. Sincerely, Joe Botelho
Displaying code snippet on SharePoint Modern
Hello, We are using SharePoint 2019 on-prem, modern experience. We need to display code snippets on pages, but the Text webpart does not allow to format a block with a black background and white texte. What are the alternative? We cannot use the online version nor the classic webparts. Thanks.
Major Data Breach Possibility - SharePoint Retention Policy includes Team Channel Sites (Orphaned)
This post is to highlight a serious issue with regards to one of the static Retention Policy templates that includes Microsoft Teams Shared and Private Channels which can ultimately leave the Channel sites orphaned when you delete the Microsoft Team, and ultimately lead you to a potential data breach. Due to this issue, we identified almost six hundred orphaned Channel sites in our tenant. I've provided full details in the SharePoint Feedback forum so Microsoft customers are aware of the issue and hopefully we can get Microsoft to fix it urgently. SharePoint Online - How to keep left navigation expandable
Hi All, I am using SharePoint Online site collection. I have created Left navigation menus with sub menus. I want this menus should be expandable in SharePoint Online site. We had used SharePoint 2013 in that Left navigation showing expandable with sub menus so just line I need this behavior on SharePoint Online. Hi All, I am using SharePoint online list. I want to disable double click on list item as this open SharePoint default edit form. Currently we are developed Canvas power apps on the same list. Also we have given access to list to open that form through hyperlink column. But user double click on list item it open defaults SharePoint edit form. Table widget width greater than screen width bug
Tested in both Chrome and Edge the table width is greater than the viewing area when viewed on a large screen when the default should be 1200px wide. I have 6 cells and when I convert to 3 cells the problem still persists. The problem disappears when I: republish the page inject css into the table with table-layout turning off injected css table-layout the problem remains disappeared The problem persists when I: refresh the page inject css explicit width for the table ie. width:1200px!important - width is still greater than 1200px at 1345px wide. Affected too is the padding of the cells which changes between the two states.
Unable to change "tab title" of SharePoint site
Hello, We are setting up a new SharePoint site, and I am unable to figure out how to change the "tab title" of the site itself. We utilized a template for setting up the site, and the words "RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT" still appear in browser tabs (shown below). There does not seem to be a way to adjust this, despite changing the Site name in Site Information, we still see the unwanted text:
