Resize Column Width on SharePoint Page

Is it possible to resize the column width after applying a SharePoint column template?

I'm using a three column layout template on the header of my SharePoint page, I want the middle column to be wider that the outer 2 columns.

Is this possible?

I'm using SharePoint on O365

In the coming months, new options for page layouts are coming and I am pretty sure you will be able to accomplish what you are talking about. You will want to watch for updates in the roadmap.

Not sure if you're still having this issue but a quick workaround I've found is to edit the column name to something longer, increasing the width. For example, if your column is titled 'example', the column will only be as wide as that. However, if you name it 'example_________________' it will increase the width to as long as how many underscores (or whatever you end up using) to be. You can quickly edit a column name by editing your list, clicking the drop-down on the relevant column name and clicking 'rename column'.

I have the same issue--SharePoint used to be so easy to use. What the heck did Microsoft do to it??? A little flexibility and WYSIWYG capability would be nice. Let me drag and drop elements onto the page.
