This started a couple days ago, but none of our users are able to clock into any shifts using the Teams/Shifts app on iPhones or iPads. They press/hold the clock-in button, it spins, and returns w/out clocking them in. Seems to be affecting all users on all shifts. I have verified that it does work on Android mobile, Windows Teams app, and the web app - seems to just be iOS/iPadOS devices affected. I reported the issue to Microsoft via the Admin portal, and it was closed with "no issue found". 🤷‍ Can someone out there be kind enough to try it on their end so I can see if it's just limited to our tenant/environment? Hi in the past I have created several shifts schedules for different teams. Now I would like to clean up the mess I have created and remove the Shifts without deleting the Teams. I haven't found a remove or delet button yet. Also the PowerShel comands doesn't seemt o help. Does anyone has an idea how I can do this? Hello all, i have a problem with setting up schedule owner permissions for shifts as descriped in this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/frontline/schedule-owner-for-shift-management?view=o365-worldwide I want to be able to manage shifts as a team member without having to be a team owner. I set up a new teams shifts policy that looks like this now: Get-CsTeamsShiftsPolicy -Identity ScheduleOwnerPolicy Identity : Tag:ScheduleOwnerPolicy EnableShiftPresence : False ShiftNoticeFrequency : Never ShiftNoticeMessageType : DefaultMessage ShiftNoticeMessageCustom : AccessType : UnrestrictedAccess_TeamsApp AccessGracePeriodMinutes : 15 EnableScheduleOwnerPermissions : True And i granted this policy to some off the users from the tenant: Grant-CsTeamsShiftsPolicy -Identity email address removed for privacy reasons -PolicyName Tag:ScheduleOwnerPolicy But it doesn´t seem to work so far. Do i miss anything here? Is there anything else that i have to make? Have a nice day Lucas3.6KViews0likes3CommentsShifts Conflicts due to Employee availability
Hi All, Every time I assign a shift to one of my agents, the shift appears with a warning sign and let me know that: "John isn't available during this shift that day. Availability on that day: 2pm-6pm, 7pm-11pm". I might have been that the agent was only available during those hours in the past, but now he is able to work those hours. I have checked how to change his availability with my Manager profile and I have called the employee who shared his screen to check where HE could change his availability. We were not able to find how to change his availability. So every time I add a shift on his timeline, I have this alert. How can I solve this? Is there another post with the solution that you could share with me? Many thanks Antoine3.4KViews1like1CommentManage Teams Shifts (to each their own)
Hi, I was wondering whether there was a way to set up Teams Shifts in a way that everyone can manage their own Shifts (add, edit, etc.) and see other members' shifts without managing them. Kind of like having viewer permissions only for other members' shifts and complete access to mine. Thank you very much! Hello Guys, A Happy Wednesday to all! Is there anyone who encountered below issues: MS Shifts takes a long time to load (about half a day and still did not work) on MS Teams Desktop app. Web version is the current workaround. MS shifts displays incorrect schedule even if owner already updated it. There are about 100+ members on this specific Team, and they use MS Shifts to manage manpower vs machine allocation, but the behaviour is inconsistent whether using direct internet or vpn, at any location (home/office). My question on this one, "Is there a limit to the number of schedules that can be managed ?, If yes, what would be the maximum?" Thanks in advanced for your insights! Hello Everyone, We've been using Shifts for about a year now. We love it. Only issue we've had is with the "Day Notes" section at the top. We use this to list our handful of vehicles and who is scheduled for each vehicle each day. If we save the changes for the current week, all is good. However if we go to the following week or beyond and make changes, they will eventually disappear and all notes are lost. This has happened no matter if we choose share with "your entire team" or "affected team members only." Has anyone else come across this or found a way around it? Is there a better way to go about it? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!1.8KViews1like1CommentMS Shifts - users not updating in shifts group when updated

Is there any way to pull the Shift's app time clock data for past employees? These are people who were fully licensed org members, Teams/Shifts users, who used Shifts for clock-in/out, but have since left the organization (and hence their M365 accounts were deleted). Along with deleting them, their actual historical shift assignments and timeclock data seems also to have been deleted, unless someone knows the secret as to where this data can be recovered from? Thanks in advance! Bob1.3KViews0likes1CommentMicrosoft Shifts
Hi all, My company has been using Microsoft Teams for quite a while and we are hoping to migrate our current time clock system to Microsoft Shifts. We did our own research, however, we cannot come to a conlusion that if Shifts is capable of performing the following task: Ability to restrict overtime. Once an employee gets to X amount of hours, restrict punch in without a manager's override. Ability for admin/department heads to easily view hours for each employee. A quick report to see hours worked. Ability for admin to see who is punched in. A who is here list. Ability for admin to see who is not punched in based on being scheduled. A quick report or even better, an alert if someone didn’t show up for work based on their schedule. Set up some users to use geo fencing and some not. Just want to make sure this isn’t a global setting and can be done on a user level. Restrict users from punching in and out if not on schedule. Can be authorized by manager. Not a global setting but on individual basis. Ability to automate payroll reports. Not sure if this has to be synced to Microsoft HR. Ability to enter different job codes. Presently, we have people assigned to departments, but when they cross over to help in other departments, they punch into that department's job code. This tracks labour hours against the department they actually are doing the work in. Your help is greatly appreciated! Horlick1.2KViews0likes0Comments
