Shifts Issues

We have been using Shifts to create schedules for my work now for a few months. I am having some issues with the schedules not updating and - most recently - someone I set up as an "owner" is not able to edit the schedule he needs to create. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I have taken him off and added him again as an owner and it still doesn't seem to work ...

  • Hello ๐Ÿ™‚

You might have solved this issue....This answer for any users coming to this thread as well ๐Ÿ™‚

You can manage schedule ownership for shift management by using PowerShell cmdlets. You can create a new policy with the Schedule Owner feature turned on and assign it to the team member who needs to edit the schedule. This will allow them to manage their teamโ€™s shift assignments without being a team owner.

Alternatively, you can also edit a Shifts schedule in Excel by following these steps:

    - In the Shifts app, go to the team schedule you want to edit.
    - Go to More options at the top right of the Schedule page, and then select Export schedule.
    - Choose the start and end dates for the timeframe you want to work on.
    - Select Export and then Open in Excel.
    - Make your changes in Excel and then save the file.
    - Go back to Shifts and select Import schedule from Excel.
    - Choose the file you edited and then select Import.
