OneDrive disk 5tb- guest link sharing has stopped working.
Hello. I've been using it for so long and everything worked fine, it worked flawlessly. Now, in a 5TB OneDrive drive, the other day, guest link sharing stopped working. I give all the permissions. (Share with everyone. No login required) I'm creating a link. The participant is trying to open the link. But. They write: Access is prohibited. You do not have permissions to access this resource. And they require you to log in with an account.
External Sharing in OneDrive and SharePoint
Hello, some users have external sharing permissions. I need to create a rule and policy to track which files they are sharing and with whom. I checked via Purview, an alert came through, but I can't see who the files were shared with, and the main issue is that those users don't have external sharing permissions. We have checked many ways but could not understand what we need to do.
List all channels and their associated SharePoint Folders
We are in the middle of a Tenant to Tenant migration. We have a lot of renamed channels and the tool we're using migrates all files into the original folder name, creates the channel using the new folder name, and none of the files show up in the migrated channel. They say this is a design/API limitation from Microsoft and they're working with their development team and Microsoft, but a solution won't happen for quite some time. Their workaround is to perform the migration once to pull over all content, then to manually find and move all files from the old folder name to the current name that matches the channel name, then to re-run the non-files portion of the migration to re-connect channel chats to the properly moved files. It may work, but it'll be a lot of manual intervention (200+ teams, likely everyone with at least one renamed channel). One thing that'll help with this would be to have a list of all Channels and their associated SharePoint folder names. That way we can properly prepare for how much manual work we'll need to do, or maybe create scripts to move content after the initial migration stage. Does anyone know how to generate such a list? I've found scripts to list Teams and their channel names, but none of them also list the associated SharePoint folder name/path. Thanks.
Outlook Contacts Override Office 365 Profile Information
We migrated to Office 365 recently, and anyone that has outlook contacts for internal users will see the information (like phone numbers and positions) from those old contacts instead of the updated information in Office 365 when displayed in Sharepoint. Is there a way to force Sharepoint to use the information in Office 365 instead of using Outlook contacts?
