Office 365

Hello, I purchased Microsoft Office Small Business 2007 with a lifetime license. It used to work fine, but now it doesn’t run with Microsoft 365. I’d like to know: Did Microsoft completely stop supporting Office 2007? Is my license key valid only for Office 2007, or can I get a new key for Microsoft 365? Since it was a “lifetime” license, what options do I have now that it no longer works? Only purchasing 365?75Views0likes4CommentsPlanner - We can't show comments right now
I'm getting the following error display as a banner on one of my Plans when I open Task items. "We can't show comments right now. Check again in a few minutes" I'm almost certain that this message only appears when a Task Comment has been deleted from the group mailbox. The issue is that the error message is misleading and my users think that comments are failing to show. Is there any way to prevent this message from displaying - I don't have access to the Admin Centre unfortunately.456Views1like2CommentsExcel (365 & 2016) with network information...and much more Information to Filter.
With Excel (365 & 2016) Network information, information about Local Network Connectivity, Test Connection to a Specific Web URL, WiFi SSID information ...and much more information to filter with a button. I was trying to create a tool that would allow me to filter the necessary information from all the PCs I need to work on using a USB stick. I came across an old file that I edited and added additional information to the code. I'd like to share this file (Help for self-help). If anyone finds it useful, or would like additional tips or information, please feel free to send me feedback. If it doesn't help you...just ignore it. I welcome any constructive comments. * After loading the file, be sure to activate all macros. Happy Excel-ing! 🙂225Views0likes16CommentsOneDrive folders when switching to a new computer
Hi All Let me first explain what I have setup I have created my OneDrive on my computer to sync only selected folders to my SD card. (Many reasons and I have found this very useful) I customized the OneDrive location using this article https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/install-onedrive-on-an-external-drive-6307e24b-d7a4-493f-bf43-47345b2c11fe I now have a new computer and will be just moving this SD card over and all my data should be there and ready to go. I have only selected some of the OneDrive folders to sync and of them some of it is made locally available so I can work on them even if I am off line (like traveling on a plane with no internet) or am in the woods or very remote locations where I get no connectivity. Now to the question I plan to setup my new computer with the SD card and hopefully can follow the article (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/install-onedrive-on-an-external-drive-6307e24b-d7a4-493f-bf43-47345b2c11fe) and once more link up the SD card (with all the information it has locally) Where does Windows 10/OneDrive store information about which are the folder I have selected and what to do with them? I cannot find this information and maybe I do not need it - unsure about this. If I do as stated in article https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/install-onedrive-on-an-external-drive-6307e24b-d7a4-493f-bf43-47345b2c11fe with the old SD card in my new computer will I be up and running or is there something I should follow to make this work well. Remember I cannot have the SD card in two locations to know the information. Any guidance or pointers from any one who has done this would be very helpful. I wish MS helps people who want to customize or adapt things by giving more clear instruction on how they design or document so people can customize. I struggle with this and how MS does their software. While on OneDrive - anyone written batch files on the computer to create onedrive folders, then share it with users along with setting expiration dates? These can be done on the browser, but one folder at a time with clickoholic interface and it gets repetitive very quickly if you have to do this for 40 students every semester - Of course MS has not way of doing this at all (at least to my knowledge and my reading)96Views0likes3CommentsHaving trouble with IF formula
Hello, I'm not sure what's going on with my formula, but it is supposed to double the "Grip" when a checkbox is checked. All the numbers being pulled from tables are correct and when not checked the "Grip" adds up correctly. When doubled, it is also adding the "Wall Thk." number an extra time. Correct single Grip = 1.625" Correct double Grip = 3.25" I get 3.5" for double grip. Formula used below, as well as pictures. If my formula is wrong, then I can't see it, but it has to be adding T8 somehow. =IF(X8,((INDEX(DATA_THK,MATCH(1,(Flg_Thk[Spec.]=N8)*(Flg_Thk[Series]=O8)*(Flg_Thk[Class]=P8)*(Size=Q8),0),MATCH(R8,FLG_TYPE,0))+T8*(R8="Lap Joint (LJ)")+V8*(U8="RF"))*2),(INDEX(DATA_THK,MATCH(1,(Flg_Thk[Spec.]=N8)*(Flg_Thk[Series]=O8)*(Flg_Thk[Class]=P8)*(Size=Q8),0),MATCH(R8,FLG_TYPE, 0))))+T8*(R8="Lap Joint (LJ)")+V8*(U8="RF")46Views0likes2CommentsAll the sensitivity labels are not showing in the new outlook
I recently noticed that some sensitivity labels are missing in Outlook. I used to see all four labels—Public, Internal, Confidential, and Restricted—but now I only see Public and Internal. The full list still appears in Word and PowerPoint. I just switched to the new Outlook experience and the issue persists there.34Views0likes1CommentHow do I link a cell to another sheet in the same workbook, allowing me to view the sheet?
I have a workbook containing a list of webpages in the first sheet. I want to be able to click on a cell and be directed to that sheet/tab, viewing the entire sheet, instead of clicking through a workbook with over 25 tabs. For example, in the attached screenshot, when clicking on the "Homepage content" cell in the first sheet/tab of workbook 1, it will take me to the "Homepage Content" sheet/tab in workbook 1, allowing me to view the entire sheet. I tried using the hyperlink formula, =HYPERLINK('Homepage Content'!A1,"Homepage Content"), but it doesn't work and have looked through several google search results as well. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!Solved275KViews0likes10CommentsWhy is Excel macros sometimes missing ?
I have an excel file with a lot of rectangular shapes showing a tree structure for a family. When the user clicks on one of the rectangulat shapes the 'story' of that person opens up in a Word dokument. BUT ... Most often the macro 'assigned' to the OnAction WONT run - instead this message comes up: The macros is NOT shown when I "show macros" but it IS present in the VBA section when I press alt+F11 ! When it's working it's most often reight after a reboot og the machine - then it maybe works in 10-30 minuts and then the problem is back again ! I HAVE chesked the security setting allowing macros to be activated ! I have tha SAME file running under Window 10 for years WITHOUT any problems !!!! I can see out there that people FOR YEARS have had similar problems with missing macros - but unfortunately I found no solution ! What the _BEEP_ is wrong here ?141Views0likes8CommentsMacros being blocked in Excel even though file is located in trusted site
I am experiencing an issue that I have seen several discussions about, however there does not appear to be an answer so I wanted to see if anyone has found an answer for this. I have a user that is getting the following message in excel when opening a file on a network share: Microsoft has blocked macros from running because the source of this file is untrusted. I have confirmed that the file location is in the Trusted Center and in addition, this issue just started happening recently with no changes that I am aware of. I have also placed the server IP and Server name of the server in the Trusted sites under Internet Options, but this did not change the issue. Here is some info about the system: Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19045 Build 19045 Excel for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2402 Build 16.0.17328.20124) 64-bit13KViews0likes4Comments
