I am working in a Microsoft Azure/365 multi-tenant setting due to some constraints. I am using Purview (Tenant1) and Fabric (Tenant2), M365 in (Tenant 2). I'm facing issues with various solutions due to cross tenant limitation for eg: Data Quality Connection, Metadata ingestion, lineage, etc. To overcome this I am exploring various workarounds. Key Question: 1. Are there proven workarounds or solutions to manage data estate in this scenario? Does anyone have any information on licensing the new Exchange Server SE for customers who have M365/O365 E3/E5 purchased via CSP but do not have Extended Use Rights (i.e., no EA/EAS -> no on-prem Office server licenses included)? Specifically: Is it enough to license Exchange Server SE per node only, or Do customers also need to purchase Exchange Server CALs per user (even if they already have M365 E3/E5)? I’ve spoken with multiple licensing distributors and a Microsoft partner contact, but I still haven’t been able to get a definitive answer. According to a comment from Jeremy Carlson and Microsoft’s licensing documentation, certain licenses appear to include "CAL-equivalency rights". Can anyone here confirm whether these CAL-equivalency rights cover access to Exchange Server SE in the CSP E3/E5 (no Extended Use Rights) scenario? licensing reference: https://www.microsoft.com/licensing/terms/product/CALandMLEquivalencyLicenses/MCA#clause-2165-h3-175Views0likes0CommentsTeams Meeting Intelligent Recap/AI Notes feature license requirement
Hello Experts, We've read that from this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/intelligent-recap-calls-meetings The intelligent recap/AI notes for meetings license requirement is Teams Premium "or" M365 Copilot license. However, when we test this for a couple of test users that only has Copilot license(paid) but without Teams Premium. The AI Notes in Teams Meetings Recap is locked. See sample screenshot. We confirmed that the AI Notes is unlocked once you have Teams Premium license but this seems like a bug or maybe an error from the official article. Can someone from the engineering team confirm this? Your help is highly appreciated.126Views0likes0CommentsTeams SMS Campaign Approval
Our use case is strictly for receiving inbound notifications. We do not send any outbound messages. As we won't be using the SMS feature to contact individuals directly. Is there any way to get approved without fulfilling requirements that don't apply to our specific use case like the Call-To-Action and SMS Terms and Condition?112Views0likes1CommentReceive the message “Microsoft Bookings is not activated for you” despite E1 license
Hello, We work with the E1 license (school). According to the MS page https://learn.microsoft.com/de-de/microsoft-365/bookings/bookings-overview?view=o365-worldwide the license for Bookings is included. Since it is not displayed, I would like to activate it via the M365 Admin Center --> Settings --> Organization settings--> Services (according to the support article in the Admin Center). However, the service is not listed. Why is the service not listed? Thanks for your help Wosch753Views0likes1CommentBookings is not showing any availability on calendar
Hello All, I am having an issue where one of my users can no longer any availability on My bookings calendar. He has the Book with Me link in his signature. When potential customers click on the link, my bookings page shows no availability to the customer. When he looks at his calendar in Outlook it shows he has availability. He is using the default my bookings configuration (did not create his own). I am unable to replicate it on my end. We are using M365 Standard as well. Can someone help with this?473Views0likes0CommentsWhitelist Email Addresses/Domains for Certain Groups
What's the most effective way to manage email whitelists for certain groups of users (only)? Rather than whitelisting an email address or a domain for an entire tenant, how can we whitelist it for selected users and nobody else?114KViews0likes4CommentsAccount Bindings/Dependencies
Hi team, I've scoured various forums for an answer to this, but they seem to either address something slightly different to what I'm looking for, or, the recommended solution doesn't really work for me. I'm looking to export a list of SharePoint sites that one specific account (which is currently disabled) is either a member or an admin of. Without drilling through each individual site - of which we have over 300 - and manually reviewing the membership, what's the best way to do this? I've tried audit reports, I've tried searching the contentclass:STS_Site search, and I've tried various PowerShell strings which don't quite show me what I'm looking for. Any assistance would be hugely appreciated, thank youSolved1KViews0likes2CommentsUnable to call 200 help line using Microsoft Teams (US based)
Hello Team, We would like to confirm if others are experiencing or is aware of this behavior. We are using Teams as our telephony service and we are able to call emergency numbers like 911 using Teams but not 211 helpline nor 800. Is there any documentation regarding this? Thank you!1KViews0likes1Comment
