Hello, Has anyone been able to resolve the Sign-In Error issue? It appears to be an issue between the Microsoft Authenticator app and Teams. Our organization is using Conditional Access policies to require MFA via the Microsoft Authenticator App. After MFA completes and the phone returns to Teams, the error message is displayed. Azure AD Sign-In log displays MFA success. Steps to produce: 1. Open Teams 2. add account yourdomain.com 3. select work account 4. Flips to Microsoft Authenticator 5. Enter Password 6. Flips to Teams 7. Displays error: Sign-In Error Here is what I've tried: - deleted the account from Teams - restarted the phone - reinstalled teams - tried to delete cache from Teams settings in iOS General (never seems to clear) - removed email address from personal Microsoft accountSolved125KViews0likes11CommentsDisabled teams account can still log in
Hey i am noticing a behaviour that i can reproduce right now that is very disturbing to my users/managers. We are having to terminate people due to covid, but we want to offer the ability for them to come back one day, so the accounts are not being deleted, merely disabled. I have noticed that if a user is still logged into teams, even though their AD account is disabled, and office365 says "blocked" they can still get in and attend team meetings! i can even send an email calendar invite to a meeting and the user can join that meeting. Tested 1 hour after they were disabled in AD and blocked in office 365. obviously this is a huge problem!!! i have read other posts that an "active sync" connection may be left open for possibly days. Is this what is happening? it seems more specific to exchange though. ref: https://old.reddit.com/r/sysadmin/comments/8jlqmn/terminated_employee_sent_email_an_hour_after/ Is there a setting somewhere or a way to force disabled users to logout? i even changed the users password and they can still open teams and it just auto logs them in.Solved35KViews0likes7Comments"Weitere Informationen erforderlich" bei Anmeldung
Hi, I'm trying to set up the free version of MS Teams on my desktop so I can join a meeting at 13:00 Eastern Australian Standard Time 11 June 2021 (tomorrow!). I sign in with my password then it asks for my phone number to send me a code. I enter my phone number and click next. I get a four digit number which I type into the verification box. It tells me the number is incorrect. I've tried this numerous times and all the numbers I have received fail to verify. They are all four digits. This is uncommon, other programs use six digit verification codes. Are the codes I'm receiving truncated? I need this fixed so I can attend my meeting.7.3KViews1like10CommentsUnable to Login to Teams on a Mac / Windows
I have Teams installed on a Mac, a Windows 10 PC and my iPhone. It only works on the iPhone! On the Mac it says 'run into an issue' and 'try signing in again', which I have tried multiple times. I have re-installed teams, deleted everything Teams related from the keychain, looked in the library/application support/Microsoft folders for teams folders and the cache but found nothing. Even after all of that it still caches my last login name and then it fails when I try to log in. I think if I could clear it and start again it might work. As for the Windows PC it says ‘Someone has already set up Teams for your organization’ and it is a personal account. Re-installed multiple times there also. Any ideas?6KViews0likes9CommentsCan't login to Teams' Android app as a guest in other organization
I can't login to Teams as a guest in another organization in Android app. The error message after trying to login says: Your license doesn't include access to Microsoft Teams. You can upgrade to a supported Office 365 plan on the admin portal. Which is true, my company did not have a that license. But I'm trying to connect to another organization as a guest. No problem accessing from web or Windows app. The problem occurs on the Android app only. I can add that I used the Android app as a guest before. Thanks.Solved4.3KViews1like2Comments"We couldn't sign you in" for ms project page in Teams
Hi, I'm running a trail of MS project Plan 1 and a colleague has created a project. He can obiously visit the url of the project via the browser, but when adding the url as a website to Teams, logging in does not work for some reason.... We don't know why. Until last week this did work with MS project Plan 3 (also running the trial). Has this something to do with the plan or could it be something else? Thank you very much!2.9KViews1like9CommentsCompletely unable to use any account for video calls on microsoft teams.
Hello, I work as a consultant and logged in once at my old clients (client A) teams environment for a call. I do not work with client A anymore but whenever I click "open with teams" for a video call, I get prompted to login to CLIENT A's environment, with their logo and all. I tried a million different things and have browsed this forum for a month without any success. My account i stuck in limbo. So I tried setting up a completely new account that has nothing to do with Client A in any sort of way. Guess what, I'm still being sent to CLIENT A's login screen for teams when I click "open with teams". So I tried reinstalling microsoft teams, to no avail... I'm still getting pushed to login to Client A's login domain. This is not a problem with ANY OTHER microsoft product, ONLY with teams. During this entire thing I've never ever once been asked to even input a password. I simply get called to add my e-mail/login name which ofc gets rejected because I'm not working with Client A again. Please, help me sort this out so I can continue working and not always have to login as an anonymous user with no functionality and ability to gain permissions.Solved2.5KViews0likes8CommentsTeam Login Broken
My Microsoft account is mailto:ursus@alum.mit.edu. That "alum.mit.edu" is used for alumni EFL. They are _not_ students. I already have a Microsoft account, Office 365 subscriptions, etc., attached to my Microsoft Account (mailto:ursus@alum.mit.edu). When I installed Teams and try top log in it does not check that I have a Microsoft account first and then it assumes I am a student and I must contact the school to get a login. I am not a student.2.4KViews0likes8Comments
