Live events in Microsoft 365 enables anyone to create live and on-demand events that deliver compelling communications to employees. Events use video and interactive discussion across Stream, Teams, or Yammer. And the production can be as simple, or as sophisticated as needed, using webcams and screen sharing for informal presentations, or a studio-quality production for more formal events. Up to 10,000 attendees can participate in real-time from anywhere, on any device, or catch up later with powerful AI features that unlock the content of the event recording.21KViews8likes3CommentsMissing "Share content" button in MS Teams Live event
I'm a producer on a MS Teams Live event - but I have no option to share content. I've watched the producer guidance and I should have a SHARE button above MUTE ALL, but I don't! Any ideas about how to rectify it? (My fellow producer doesn't have the button either). Thank you so much!Solved20KViews2likes12CommentsExternal presenter can't join live-event after it started?
Is this a bug or a known problem? A collegue of mine was invited to give a presentation on a project in a different Tenant (Let's call it Organisation B). The live-event was hosted by Organisation B, the organisation had multiple presenters each giving a presenation every 30 minutes. My collegue was second in line to give a presentation, when she wanted to join the live-event 5-10minutes before it was her turn. The connection kept failing, giving an error after 1-2minutes saying she couldn't make connection. Since we also host live-events regularly, I wanted to make sure what the cause of this problem would be. If it isn't possible (as a presenter) to join after the live-event started, why isn't it? Thanks in advance for any replies! *Since this wasn't on my computer and the live-event is already over, I can't share any screenshots.*Solved12KViews1like18CommentsGuest presenters in Teams Live Events added before creating a team can't present
We have created a live event. We added the email addresses of the presenters (both internal and external to our organisation). During rehearsals we found out those outside the organisation could only join as viewers. We then found out that in order for them to have the necessary permissions to present, they should also be added in a team. So we created a dedicated team for this event and added them there. But they still couldn't present. It turns out the accounts/mail addresses added in the team and the ones added in the live event does not "link" to each other. We then had to delete all (external) presenters from the live event and add them again (now that they were also added in the team). That worked for most external presenters, but some were still unable to join. We also found out if they were logged in during these procedures, the changes did not take effect until they re-logged in. Now that the event is live, we cannot make any more changes (remove and re-add presenters) and thus a lot of presenters were unable to present 😞 The whole experience was quite frustrating both to us, as organisers/producers, and to the participants. I'm writing this more as a feedback, rather than in hope any help can be provided at this point.11KViews0likes2CommentsTeams Live Events- Bitrate woes for Live Event and recording
I've been trying to find ways to improve the Teams Live events performance, mainly video quality / bitrate. However, I fear that there's a limit above which the quality cannot be improved. I even tested with an eCDN provider but viewers can never get more that 720p@1.5Mbit/s. I am puzzled. How can 720p@1.5MBit/s ever be enough? Even on a 14" Notebook it's almost impossible to read Excel table data let alone viewing it on a 27" or above screen. Moreoever, the Live Event recording suffers even worse. It's usually around 600KBit/s with 66Kbit/s for audio. This is way from being contemporary. I feel there's something fundamentally wrong and was wondering if it's still something wrong in our configuration or if you have the same experiences. Would love to hear your feedback.9.2KViews1like3CommentsLive event error: 'Failed to execute "Send Live" command. Please try again later.'
Hi. Our producer team have had this error show in a few Live events. For example this morning Producer A could not send a presenter live, but Producer B could. Later on in the event Producer A could again send presenters live. Screenshot attached. I spoke to the producer who had issues and nothing else in Teams or the event was having issues. video and audio was good quality, so I don't think it was network related. I'm wondering what I would look for in a logfile to see if the client logged any errors. Teams Live events are really good and have been a great way to reach our customers during Covid-19 restrictions, but this and the guest presenter experience are holding it back from being a really great platform8.9KViews2likes9CommentsLive Events for A1 Subscription
I have seen an last month updated feature blog and I found that it said it will upgrade O365 A1 Faculty license for MS Teams’ for free until July. I would like to ask that whether this feature is enabled yet as it said it will be upgraded at the beginning of this month. And if it is now enabled, how can I know if it is enabled in my tenant. Thank you6.9KViews0likes4Comments
