Live events in Microsoft 365 enables anyone to create live and on-demand events that deliver compelling communications to employees. Events use video and interactive discussion across Stream, Teams, or Yammer. And the production can be as simple, or as sophisticated as needed, using webcams and screen sharing for informal presentations, or a studio-quality production for more formal events. Up to 10,000 attendees can participate in real-time from anywhere, on any device, or catch up later with powerful AI features that unlock the content of the event recording.21KViews8likes3CommentsDiscontinuation of M365 Business Premium Grant Deeply Disappointing,Harmful to Small Nonprofits
As a Microsoft CSP partner supporting multiple nonprofit organizations, I am extremely disappointed by the decision to discontinue the Microsoft 365 Business Premium grant. This change disproportionately affects small nonprofits that rely on these tools to fulfill their missions with limited resources. The justification that this is about “alignment” or “sustainability” is disingenuous. Let’s be honest—this is a revenue-driven decision that undermines Microsoft’s long-standing commitment to empowering nonprofits. Removing access to essential tools like Office desktop apps and Intune from the grant program forces small organizations into paid plans they cannot afford, jeopardizing their operations and security. Microsoft has built goodwill in the nonprofit sector over the years. This move erodes that trust. I urge you to reconsider this decision or at least provide a longer transition period and more flexible options for small nonprofits. Please do better. The nonprofit sector deserves more than a corporate cost-cutting maneuver disguised as a strategic realignment.357Views4likes2CommentsGlobal Nonprofit Leaders Summit virtual registration now open!

I'm a producer on a MS Teams Live event - but I have no option to share content. I've watched the producer guidance and I should have a SHARE button above MUTE ALL, but I don't! Any ideas about how to rectify it? (My fellow producer doesn't have the button either). Thank you so much!Solved20KViews2likes12CommentsRecording - HLS Modern Workplace Fire Away Friday 08-03-2018
Thanks to all those who were able to join our 8-3-2018 edition of “HLS Modern Workplace Fire Away Friday.” It was our first delivery of a live public event using the new Microsoft Live Events using Microsoft Stream. During this webcast we covered: The Modern Workplace Top 3 Microsoft Intelligent Events. Live Events for Stream, Yammer, and Teams Open Forum Q&ALive event error: 'Failed to execute "Send Live" command. Please try again later.'
Hi. Our producer team have had this error show in a few Live events. For example this morning Producer A could not send a presenter live, but Producer B could. Later on in the event Producer A could again send presenters live. Screenshot attached. I spoke to the producer who had issues and nothing else in Teams or the event was having issues. video and audio was good quality, so I don't think it was network related. I'm wondering what I would look for in a logfile to see if the client logged any errors. Teams Live events are really good and have been a great way to reach our customers during Covid-19 restrictions, but this and the guest presenter experience are holding it back from being a really great platform8.9KViews2likes9Comments
